Chapter 7

Desmond was certain that the four people who came over to him were subordinates of the arrogant woman just now.

"How dare you touch Madam!" said one of the bodyguards.

Desmond's guess was correct; the four bodyguards were the woman's guards; he could only shake his head.

"It's always like this: I'm humiliated if I'm not underestimated. Is my face that bad?" muttered Desmond softly.

The four personal bodyguards were so irritated that they snapped at Desmond, but the man they snapped at was muttering to himself.

One of the men was about to grab Desmond by the collar, but somehow, Desmond's hand reflexively grabbed the man's arm and threw him to the floor.

Whack!

"Aaarghh!" The man roared in pain, while Desmond was confused that he could suddenly fight easily.

His comrades certainly did not accept their friend being defeated so easily that the three of them came forward together.

Desmond was being held by two people, one of whom was about to punch Desmond in the face, but Desmond pulled his body so that the person holding him was hit.

"Ouch!!!"

The man reflexively released his chokehold on Desmond. His friend was surprised; he gritted his teeth and wanted to punch Desmond again, but Desmond swiftly switched positions with the man who was still choking him.

Smack!

"Ouch!!!"

Again, he punched his friend, which infuriated the man. He gritted his teeth and lunged at Desmond again, but again Desmond ducked out of the way.

"Ouch! My future," said the person while holding his future as his partner kicked him, and he fell to the floor.

"Oh shit... sorry," Desmond said with a smile.

"Bastard!" The man who had fallen from being punched in the face got back up and lunged at Desmond.

Desmond used the other bodyguard as a shield so that he became his friend's punching bag.

His face looked battered because the person had been eyeing Desmond's face.  Seeing his friend, who was already battered, he hesitated to hit him again.

"Why stop? Let's continue," Desmond challenged with a grin.

"Fuck... Ouch!!!" the man screamed as Desmond kicked the leg of the man he was using as protection and reflexively kicked the man's future.

Smack!

Whack!

Desmond punched the man in the back of the neck, and he collapsed on the floor.

The security guards who saw the incident wanted to arrest Desmond but hesitated because they were sure they wouldn't be able to defeat him.

Desmond smiled sarcastically, then turned to the woman who had scolded him earlier, looking frightened.

"Miss, is my apology accepted now?" asked Desmond arrogantly.

The woman immediately nodded, not daring to speak to Desmond as she saw all her guards fall.

Desmond smiled, picked up his purchases and left. The man's fighting skills amazed all the customers who had seen Desmond's fight.

The woman stared at Desmond's departure with a sigh of relief; she then looked at her subordinates lying on the floor.

"Who the hell is he?" she muttered softly, quickly grabbing her mobile phone and calling someone.

After the phone was picked up, she rushed to speak up, "Dad, I found the right person to be my bodyguard!" she said excitedly.

"What's the name? I'll let my assistant take care of it," replied the man on the other side of the phone casually.

"I don't know his name, but you can see from the mall's CCTV that he beat four of my bodyguards single-handedly!" he said excitedly.

"Okay, I'll send someone to look for her right away," the man replied, switching off his mobile phone.

The woman smiled, confident that she could make Desmond her bodyguard. She had no idea that the man she was going to make her bodyguard had such unbelievable wealth.

Meanwhile, Desmond got into his car after putting all his groceries in the boot.

"Clothes, Car, and Mobile Phone already, now it's time to go home!" joked Desmond happily.

Desmond stepped on the accelerator of his car and rushed towards Papillon Villa with a feeling of excitement.

He switched on the radio in the car and listened to the song.

The car continued to drive towards Papillon Villa. However, while she was engrossed in singing, suddenly, someone who was intentionally suicidal blocked her car.

Squeak!!!

Desmond slammed on the brakes so hard that the car's tyres started to smoke, but the car managed to stop right in front of the man with only a foot to spare.

"Shit!" grumbled Desmond, who immediately got out of the car.

"You bastard! If you're tired of living, don't kill yourself here! Kill yourself on the railway! There you won't..." Desmond stopped being angry as the man collapsed in front of his car, sobbing.

"Waah!! Waah!!!"

Desmond frowned when he saw a man wearing glasses and a wedding coat sobbing.

Desmond sighed; he squatted near the man, "Get up; don't cause others trouble."

"For what? I want to die! I can't live like this anymore!" said the man, crying more and more.

Desmond was, of course, surprised that he had intended to help him, but the man was crying like that and all the pedestrians who saw it were looking at Desmond sarcastically.

"Hey! What are you doing? You're just like a child!" reprimanded Desmond softly.

"Let it go! I've had enough of this life! No one ever appreciates me!" she shouted through tears.

Desmond scratched his face; he was very annoyed with the man. He then sighed, "Sorry!"

Smack!

Desmond hit the man on the back of the neck, and the man fainted. Desmond quickly carried him into the car; rather than continue to deal with him, he would rather take him home.

"Damn it, why did I have such a good first day?" she grumbled in annoyance as she ruffled her hair.

Desmond looked at the glasses man he had seated in his car and buckled up; he sighed and got back into the car.

Desmond didn't care who the man was; the important thing was that he took him first; after the man woke up, he would talk to him in his new home.

***

Desmond's car arrived at Papillon Villa; a gate guard was there. Desmond showed his face to the guard and handed over proof that he owned the Villa.

After Desmond showed proof of ownership, the guard rushed to open the door, and the car entered the Villa grounds.

Desmond was amazed by the spacious villa, plus the garden there, making him feel very satisfied to have bought the villa.

"It's not wrong that I have this Villa," Desmond muttered with a smile.

The car arrived at the front of the Villa, and Desmond got out of his car. He also did not forget to drop off the man he was carrying, but instead of taking him in, he left him lying on the terrace chair.

Desmond walked into the house with a flowery face, "I finally have my own house!" he said happily.

But a moment later, his face turned ugly, "Wait, but I can't possibly take care of such a big house by myself."

[Sir, should I order a waiter for you?]

Desmond smiled, "Of course, I need servants; you recruit servants so they can take care of the whole house, and someone must be able to cook!" Desmond ordered straightforwardly.

[Yes, sir, I will carry out your order immediately!]

Desmond nodded; it was a good thing that System reminded him so he could be more at ease living in the house if there were servants who would make his days like a king.
