Chapter 8

Desmond walked around the house; he admired every corner of it; to him, it was a beautiful gift.

Desmond sat on the balcony of the main room on the second floor. It just so happened that the balcony led to a large land and a lake, making his eyes feel very comfortable.

"How wonderful life would be if I had been like this all along," she murmured as she gazed at the view from the balcony.

[Sir, I've got the servants; they'll probably start working tomorrow]

Desmond nodded in understanding, "Good then, System, explain more about yourself!"

[I'm sorry, sir, but I can't disclose that information to you!]

Desmond frowned, "What do you mean, isn't everything I ask and want you to fulfil?"

[That's right, sir, but I can't talk about this one, so it's better to abort your intention, but I will serve you well!]

Desmond sighed, "Well, anyway, can you find an easy business for me?" Desmond asked with certainty.

[Yes, Sir, I have found a company about to collapse. I guarantee the company will rise again with a little injection of funds. I have started negotiating with the owner!]

"You are reliable; I look forward to the good news," said Desmond happily.

[Of course, sir!]

Desmond then went into his room, after almost a day of travelling around buying everything he needed, he rushed into the bathroom to clean himself up.

The bathroom looked so spacious that, again, Desmond was amazed by the room.

Meanwhile, the person Desmond was carrying began to blink his eyes.

Whack!

"Ouch!"

The person shrieked in pain as he realised he had fallen to the floor, grimacing in pain as he scrambled to his feet.

"Where am I?" he asked confusedly as he swept his gaze.

"Gosh, isn't this Papillon Villa?" he monologued to himself.

The man saw the Villa's door open; he approached it and shouted, "Excuse me! Is anyone inside?"

No one answered, but he went inside carefully because he wanted to enter the Villa.

"It's a beautiful place where rich people live is different," he said, admiring it.

The man walked forward again, but just as he was about to go up the stairs, someone suddenly reprimanded him.

"Hey! Who told you to come in here?!"

The person immediately looked up; he saw Desmond, who was rushing towards him, and he immediately ran out.

Desmond, who had just finished bathing, saw the man running, so he was forced to chase after him; after all, his business had not settled.

Desmond grabbed the person by the collar; the person just ran in place as Desmond held his collar tightly.

"Let me go!" roared the man, still trying to run.

"You still owe me an apology!" Desmond picked up the person and dropped him.

Whack!

"Ouch!" The man shrieked in pain, feeling a sense of deja vu because just after waking up, he fell like that.

"Who are you, and why do you want to kill yourself?!" Desmond asked directly.

The man looked up, "My name is Dutton, sir; I want to kill myself because..."

Dutton's expression suddenly turned sad, causing Desmond to frown.

"Because of what? Tell me!" chided Desmond in a slightly raised voice.

"Because my wife-to-be left with another man on the day we were supposed to get married!" he replied firmly.

Desmond was surprised; it turned out that his fate and Dutton's were the same, both betrayed by a woman; of course, Desmond, who was going to be angry, did not do it.

"Where do you live? Let me take you home," Desmond said, offering a lift.

"No need, sir, just let me walk; I don't want to live anymore either," he replied.

Pluck!

"Ouch!"

The man groaned in pain as a slap hit his cheek; he, of course, turned his head directly towards Desmond.

"Listen carefully, Dutton, losing one woman doesn't make you lose everything; you can still live and find another woman! To hell with the words of loyalty that women say! We just need to organise our lives as tough men!" Desmond said earnestly.

Desmond's talk dumbfounded Dutton, he never expected to meet a man who cared so much about him.

"Do you have a job?" asked Desmond.

Dutton shook his head.

Desmond asked again, "What skills do you have?"

"I used to work as a manager, sir," she replied softly.

"Good! From now on, you will work with me! You will be my assistant; I will make you into a man who can easily get women!" said Desmond confidently.

Dutton just stared at his place. He didn't know whether what Desmond said was true, but he was interested in Desmond's invitation.

Dutton started living with Desmond that day; he didn't return to his family home because he said he was embarrassed. Desmond didn't mind; after all, there were many empty rooms.

Meanwhile, in a luxurious mansion in the centre of Aradonia.

A beautiful girl named Desmond was hit at the shopping centre and was seen sulking with a middle-aged man with a thick moustache.

"Father, can't you find just one person? Are all of your subordinates no longer reliable?!" he said, looking sarcastically at the bodyguards.

The bodyguards were seen bowing their heads, not daring to look at their master's face.

"Patience, dear, the problem is that no one knows that person in that area; he's probably not from this town," the man said helplessly.

"You have so many men; why not send them all out to look for him? Come on, Dad, I want him," the girl continued, sulking at her father.

The middle-aged man sighed, "Did you hear my daughter's request?! Hurry up and find that man!"

"Yes, sir!" they replied in unison and immediately left the presence of their master.

"There, don't sulk anymore, Aurora; I've told them all to find that man for you," he said as he rubbed his daughter's head.

"Thank you, Daddy," the girl replied as she hugged her father.

Aurora Morris is the daughter of the number one businessman in the city of Aradonia, Jackson Morris.

The Morris family is the top family in the city of Aradonia; it can be said that the family almost controls the city of Aradonia. The middle-level and lower-level families almost all cooperate with the Morris family; in other words, the family is the driving force of the economy in the city of Aradonia, and that's why no one dares to disturb the family in the city of Aradonia.

Aurora is Jackson's only child. When Aurora was born, her mother died, which is why Jackson loved his only daughter so much.

Jackson did not remarry for fear that his daughter would be hurt by his stepmother, preferring to vent his desires on comfort women rather than find a replacement for his wife.

Aurora was spoilt from childhood; whatever she wanted, Jackson always fulfilled it, so the girl had a very arrogant attitude.

Aurora was back in her room, looking at the picture of Desmond that she got from a video.

"Who are you? Why did you disappear as the earth swallowed you up? I wanted to play with you!" murmured Aurora rubbing Desmond's picture while smiling to herself.
