Chapter Four

"Gosh!" Benson muttered to himself as he had to sit down back on the sofa after Rosemary had left him.

Benson knew he had no other choice but to let Rosemary be.

Benson also knew that he needed to sleep early to prepare for the interview with a new textile Company.

Benson remembered when he had gone to look for a job at the new company he went to.

Two Day Ago

Benson entered the large company and was led to the owner's office.

"I heard about your current qualifications and how you had to quit your past job," the boss said.

The boss was an averaged sized averaged aged man and was someone who liked smiling.

"Yes sir," Benson confirmed. "I am Lincoln Michaelson," The boss announced.

"Nice to meet you, sir," Benson said. Benson was already having high hopes that everything would turn out okay.

Benson knew that since he was only experienced in textile knowledge he won't be doing any other jobs.

His expertise had already crossed that of an expert Into a veteran and he was better than before.

"I have also confirmed how very good you are," Lincoln said. "Yes, boss," Benson confirmed.

"You can take a good look around when you go out from here because I need someone like you around,"

Lincoln knew that his company was lacking staff who were skilled with the expertise of textile knowledge.

"I will sir," Benson said nodding his head and smiling at Lincoln.

"But a job interview needs to be conducted after two days," Lincoln said.

"Alright boss," Benson said. Benson had started calling Lincoln is boss

Lincoln had faith that had gotten the job.

"Yeah sure, so just feel free to look around when you are on your way home and don't forget about the interview,"

Lincoln continued signing some documents when Benson rose to leave.

Benson did as he was told and had a long view of the workers in the new textile industry.

He knew about the name of this new company which was "Lincoln Textile Industry,"

"Hello sir," A female worker greeted him smiling. He knew he could fit.

Benson also knew that this company was the previous one he had work one ed in.

He saw the men who worked with the sewing machine and were sewing signs.

Benson understood what Lincoln was talking about and that season as they were they will still be beginners.

Benson knew how experienced he was and that his own was more all he needed was to pass the job interview.

Benson exited the company promising himself that his job interview would be successful.

Present Day

Benson remembered the promise he made to himself and finally fell asleep to prepare for tomorrow.

Rosemary was driven in a taxi cab towards Hannah's place and she thought about how relieved she was.

Rosemary felt that Hannah had a big surprise for her since she told her while she chatted with her earlier that day.

"Thanks, it's here," Rosemary said indicating for the taxi driver to stop in front of Hannah's place.

Rosemary handed three dollars to the taxi driver and the taxi driver drove off.

"Hey, Rosemary!" Hannah said as she came out of her apartment to hug Rosemary upon seeing her.

"Hey Hannah, how are you doing?" Rosemary inquired, hugging Hannah.

"Am great, am so glad you came," Hannah said as they both entered the apartment.

"Yeah, me too," Rosemary said following her and they got to the sitting room.

Rosemary dropped all her pieces of luggage and saw a handsome young man in a black shirt sitting on one of the sofas.

"Here is a must surprise for you, Rosemary meets Samuel Thompson, a well-to-do banker," Hannah said.

Hannah had prepared Samuel to be the next man for her and Rosemary had no other choice but to accept.

She thought about the fact that it would favour her and that she had no other choice but to have a new man.

"Ooh okay then, Hi," Rosemary said as she shook Samuel's hands.

"Such lovely hands," Samuel said as he kissed her hands when he held them.

"Thank you," Rosemary said as she blushed.

"So we start dating tomorrow if it's okay with you, I will come and pick you up from here," Samuel said.

"Alright then," Rosemary said as Samuel rose and exited the apartment.

"How is he?" Hannah said smiling. "He is great, thanks for this," Rosemary said.

"You are welcome, that's what friends are for," Hannah said as she arranged her luggage inside her apartment.

It was the next day and Benson was ready to go for the interview.

"Good day sir," Benson said when he entered Lincoln's office. "Ooh yes the interview," Lincoln said.

"So, it's just going to be some few questions and then you are good to go," Lincoln said.

The interview began and Lincoln asked Benson some relevant questions which Benson provided answers to.

Benson was very happy that he got the job after he was successful with the job interview.

"Am so happy," Benson muttered to himself as he exited the office and company.

He remembered the words of Lincoln when he told him that he got the job.

"Congratulations, you got the job," Lincoln said. Benson could remember that he almost jumped for joy.

Benson has to remind himself that he was in a well-civilized place and that he needed to comport himself.

"Now I need to call Rosemary to share the good news," Benson said when he was in the taxi cab.

Benson felt frustrated because Rosemary wasn't picking up his calls after he had called her eleven times.

"Alright then, I will have to go to Hannah's place since I will find her there," Benson concluded.

"Please change the location to White View street, I will pay up the whole charge," Benson said.

"Alright noted," The man driving the taxi cab said as he changed the direction of his car.

Benson was excited when he got to the location and paid the taxi driver who exited the scene afterwards.

Benson was shocked when he found that Rosemary was on the streets kissing an unknown man to him.

He never had an idea that Samuel was the new man that Hannah recommended to Rosemary to date.

Now they have begun to date and this made Benson so furious

"Rosemary! How could you?!" Benson yelled and Rosemary and Samuel were startled.

Immediately Rosemary discovered that he was the one who yelled she hissed and acted indifferently.

"Aren't you the one I am talking to," Benson yelled again?

Rosemary continued with her act of indifference even though Benson was angry.

Rosemary knew that she didn't feel any guilty conscience and this stunned Benson.

Benson was expecting a remorseful reaction from Rosemary especially since he caught her red-handed.

"I asked how you could do such a thing?" Benson yelled again.

"Well, you can't expect me to remain with you especially since you have lost everything," Rosemary said.

"You have one million dollars in debts to pay and yet you want me to remain with you," Rosemary mocked.

"Am sorry, but I had to break up with you because you give me a good life," Rosemary said.
