Angus stands from a distance, as the burial ceremony of his grandfather takes place.

It's windy, the brown leaves are blowing in small spirals that look like a spirit is in them.

It's a private burial ceremony, just the clergy, Owens Daniels, and about three very old friends of his grandfather.

Angus feels nothing as he watches the immaculate coffin of his grandfather descend into the ground.

There are two graves closer by that look identical, they are the graves of his father and his mother. His biological parents.

After the final rites have been performed, everyone leaves so that the gravediggers can come and complete their work.

Owen is the only person that doesn't go away. He stands there looking into the grave till Angus comes to stand by his side.

"My lord." He bows without looking at Angus. "I wasn't expecting you, you said you weren't going to."
