Angus' mouth drops to the ground, this is like the craziest thing he has heard in a long time.

No one else hears his conversation with Lorenzo, but everyone can see the shock on his face.

How is this possible that he is from a very wealthy family?

"No, no, no, no." Angus laughs. "I am sure that if I were to be from a wealthy family, my mother would have told me. Thank you for your help, but this is a joke."

Lorenzo laughs as if this reaction was something that he was expecting to see from Angus.

"Mister Knighton, I know that it's much to think about, but I will give you time."

Lorenzo takes out a card from his pocket and hands it to Angus.

"I have handled everything with your mother's hospital bills so you don't have to worry." He says. "When you finally want to meet your family, please give me a call, young master."

Even though he hasn't gotten out of his shock, he still takes the card from Lorenzo

Lorenzo bows to him one more time before leaving.

The doctor takes his mother to a VIP room and she is given special treatment and the right nutrition for her to get better.

After a few hours, she opens her eyes slowly and sees her son beside her.

"Oh, Angus." Her voice is still weak.

"Mother, you are okay now." He kisses her hand as he stares into her eyes.

"My poor boy, did I bother you? Were you able to pay for my surgery?" She asks.

"It's a miracle, Mum, but I will tell you everything when you make a full recovery.",

She nods and slowly goes back to sleeping peacefully.

Angus doesn't leave her side, not until he is sure that she is out of danger.

The next day, he makes up his mind to call the number on the card.

He still feels like this is a very expensive prank, but IF it's real, he wants to see what his superfamily looks like.

His eyes fall on his mother who is sleeping on her hospital bed.

He remembers how kind the staff got and how fearful they are of him now, he wants that to be permanent.

His mother doesn't deserve to experience poverty anymore. If not for himself, he is going to do this for her.

Lorenzo picks him up in a car that shines very brightly in the sun, he can tell that it's expensive.

When he gets into the car, he can't stop looking around.

"Wow, this is a very expensive car." He comments.

"Believe me, it's the smallest in your family's fleet." Lorenzo chuckles.

He drives Angus down to the rich part of town, where all the quiet Billionaires live with their families.

He knows that Lorenzo told him that his family is very rich, but when Lorenzo pulls up in front of a gigantic mansion, Angus' breath is taken all over again.

Every house in this Manor is beautiful, but this particular house stands out.

Lorenzo only laughs at the shocked look on his face, he asks him to come with him into the house.

If the outside is beautiful the inside of the mansion is heaven.

The floor glistens like crystals and the walls look like they have never been touched – they can't be any whiter.

No single servant is in view, but Angus knows that they are around. It probably takes a whole village to keep this place this clean.

"Welcome to your family house." Lorenzo stretches out his hands.

Angus looks around, he is finding it so hard to believe it.

"I can't believe this," Angus says under his breath.

"I am not the right person to explain everything to you, but I can take you to your grandfather." Lorenzo smiles.

"Grandfather?" Angus is not smiling, he is blown away. He also has a grandfather?!

"Come with me, he is upstairs."

Lorenzo leads him further into the house, up the stairs, and finally, they get to a huge sitting room.

It's as beautiful as the one downstairs, but the view from this one is magical.

A man was drinking coffee and reading a newspaper on a sofa, Angus stops and peers.

The man slowly lowers the newspaper and Angus sees his face.

He doesn't know what to do, it looks like he is looking in the mirror, but 30 years from now. It proves even more that this is not a prank.

The man walks up to Angus and gives him a hug, all the while laughing with happiness.

"Lord, my days are complete now! I spent years of my life thinking that you were dead, but here you are!" The man delightfully says.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I don't think that I understand," Angus confesses.

The man turns to Lorenzo and as if he was given an instruction, Lorenzo bow and leaves.

"Sit down, son." He says to him. "We have a lot to talk about."

Angus sits down. If there is anything he wants it is clarity on this whole situation.

"I am Solomon Rondolf ." He says.

"Wait, Randolph?!" Angus's eyes widen. "The richest family in the whole country?"

The man nods. "And you are one of us, you are a Rondolf."

Never in a billion years would Angus guess something like that.

The man was watching him with keen interest.

"I know you want to know what happened, how you ended up being away from your family." His voice lowers in sadness. "That's because your parents got into an accident when you were just a year old.",

Angus' heart sinks, he can't believe that his parents died.

"An accident?" Angus whispers. "But how did I survive?"

"We have no idea, son." Mister Rondolf shakes his head. "That old lady, Mrs Knighton, she was walking past the scene and she took you away when she noticed that you were alive and she raised you as her own."

Wait, his mum?! Like the only mother figure he has ever known? He can't believe that she is not his real mother.

"Angus, touch your left eyebrow." Mister Rondolf instructs.

Angus does so, his finger rubs against the slight lifting of his skin, a small scar that is hidden.

"You got that scar from the accident, your foster mother was the one who nursed you back to good health."

Angus feels his lower jaw tightened, his life has been shitty for a very long time.

But there is one thing that he doesn't care about. He is not going to think about Sarah Knighton, as anything apart from being his mother. He doesn't care that she is his foster, not biological mother. To him, there isn't a difference.

Mister Rondolf adjusts his feet, crossing them over each other.

"Don't worry, I have watched over you for a long time, I just kept my distance to keep you safe, you will understand soon." He says. "And your foster mother, she did so well raising a fine man. You are educated and morally sound."

"She almost gave her own life just for me to get an education." Angus shrugs. "That's why I will do anything to keep her safe, to provide for her."

"I know that my boy, and that's why I have decided that to reward her, I will make her part of our family so that she doesn't have to worry about anything again."

"What?" Angus is perplexed.

"Sarah Knighton is a good woman, she deserves it." Mister Rondolf nods.

Angus is bubbling with happiness, the fact that his mother doesn't have to worry about anything anymore is enough reason for him to be happy forever.

His grandfather is also happy to have his son back, both men are just so delighted.

Finally, Mister Rondolf takes out a card and asks Angus to come and take it.

Angus doesn't know what this is, but when he gets closer, he sees that it's a bank card.

"Why are you giving me a bank card, sir?"

"I was never opportune to give presents to you, so I want to make you do that. It's a bank card and it's fully yours."

Angus can't help but laugh. A few days ago, he couldn't afford a few thousand dollars and now he is getting a bank card?!

"How much is on it?"

"Oh, my boy, you cannot spend it all." Mister Rondolf laughs at him.

This makes Angus stare at the card even more closely.

He is so shocked because this is the first time that he is getting this kind of money in his life.

His grandfather sees what he is doing and becomes humorous.

"Let me give you a small task, Angus, your first task. Go and spend one million dollars."

Angus feels like a bomb has exploded next to him.
