Matilda finds herself standing in front of Christian Webster's house.

For a second she wants to turn her back and leave. She wants to get into her car and step on the gas and she won't look back until she is far away from her.

She pities Christian, even though she is supposed to be cold-hearted by the nature of her job.

She feels that Christian doesn't deserve to be treated like this. He might be an investigator that she is trying to outsmart, but now she feels sorry because she thinks he is falling for her for real.

Imagine the look on his face when he finds out that she has played him. He is going to be disappointed so much.

Even with that bad feeling in her gut, she still rings the bell and waits for him to come and answer.

Perhaps he is not at home, perhaps he has gone out to meet with his secret employers.

She sighs as she turns around, but to her greatest surprise, the door clicks open.

Christian is standing before her with the doorknob in his hand.
