Chapter 182

The courtroom was busy with viewers from around the city and soft whispers and shuffles of papers were heard as the trial of Raven reached its climax. They had not expected it to be this way from the beginning.

The room was filled up, every seat occupied by those who followed the case with a lot of interest and concern with regards to what they thought was all Danvers’ fault not knowing the person behind it had been moving freely in their midst.

Among the crowd of people present were reporters, some holding notebooks in their hand, while others with cameras ready to take pictures of every event taking place there today.

At the front, Danvers sat comfortably in his chair, with his hands held together on the table in front of him. His lawyer, an aspiring young man Marshall , was beside him, flipping through a thick file of documents to get a better master in case he missed anything.
