Ever since Lord Dabby died, the authority of the Dabby family was in the hands of Lady Dabby as her word was law. No one ever tried to go contrary to it. She seemed to have been very fond of Stephen and favored him alot. Moreover his net worth was over 35 million dollars both in assets and savings. Any offense towards him will definitely end in shackles.

“Mum, what exactly did you just do?" Asked Rhina as she walked to stand in between her mother and Danvers. Even though she hated him, it was due to his intervention that she was able to regain her pride moments ago.

The slap Margaret gave him generated an instant red spot in his face. Nevertheless he still had a smile on. They have been married for four years now and this was the first time that Rhina ever tried to speak up for him. This alone warmed his heart. He turned and left.

“You dare not walk out on me you good for nothing piece of trash” he yelled and followed Danvers to his seat.

As the entire family and invitees watched this mystery unfold, a small sweet but filled with authority voice spoke up again from the front stage of the occasion.

“Let's settle down, this matter will be revisited later! Lady Dabby said as she made her way through the stage. Within the twinkle of an eye, a roaring hall went silent within seconds.

“Okay no need for formalities you all are highly welcomed to this gracious occasion, thank you for honoring my invitation." She waved her hand to the crowd and later made her way to the seat with the support of some family members.

All that didn't matter to Danvers as he concentrated on his phone to see the aftermath at Armanti's Time hotel. Maxwell was brutally mishandled after he was unable to pay for the wine he just ordered. It was later that he discovered he only had over 1.5million left in his account. That was all he had managed to save up over the years. It was also revealed in the video that he had bought the car on installment. He was given the opportunity to pay the bills at Armanti's time in installments and also to let Wendy and Mira spend time with the CEO of Armanti's Times.

Realizing that Mira was involved he regretted his actions of not asking her to leave before he left. But he decided to place a call to the customer care service and when Damon was told who needed his assistance,he immediately granted his request. He recognized Danvers the very instant he opened his mouth. Danvers had helped him years back when he needed assistance in starting up a business.

“Master I have searched everywhere for you but you were nowhere to be found, I will like to book an appointment to thank you for all you did for me"

“Never mind, that will be sorted out, for now just Let Mira go" do with the others as you please” before Damon could offer another word he ended the call. Lady Dabby's words caught his attention.

“According to an investigation, the news reaching me says the Champions company is having a new president and for a start he is launching a new project in real estate. I want us to make use of this opportunity and partner with them, it will be a very great benefit for our clan."

The news sparked up a heated discussion in the crowd. Over the years, the Dabbys have always wanted to partner with them but have never had the opportunity, each of their attempts to partner with them had always been backed by rejection. The news of it having a new president, made them have a ray of hope to give another short. They have over five entertainment industries and also run a building material business. So it was only natural for them to wish for a slice of the cake. A partnership with the champions will generate steady profit for them without any loss.

“Settle down you all” Lady Dabby said calmly.

"Now who is ready and willing to discuss the partnership with the champions?" Lady Dabby said while scanning through the hall to see who will show interest.

“Whoever successfully negotiates and secures a partnership with the champions will be highly rewarded for their kind gesture, we all know how we have struggled countless times to secure a partnership with them to no avail so this is no joke."

"Grandma I will go”

“Lady Dabby I will go instead”

“I am also interested if given the opportunity”

“I have an idea in that field so I will go"

All the young aspiring youths were vying for the position except for Rhina, she knew her voice would not even matter considering that her position in the clan was relatively low compared to the others.

Upon seeing their enthusiasm, Lady Dabby smiled in admiration and praised each of their dedication to see the family grow. She then pointed at Stephen. Why don't you go over there tomorrow to negotiate for a partnership hoping for a positive response.”

Everyone knew Stephen would obviously be selected because he was always favored by Lady Dabby. But he still gave out a loud shout and nodded in excitement.

“I will not let you down granny"

Danvers burst out laughing which drew Stephen's attention. He needed another opportunity to belittle him even more.

It was time for the presentation of gifts. Each member gracefully handed their gift to lady Dabby and kissed the back of her hand in acknowledgement. Everyone, including Rhina, had handed her a gift. Stephen then moved forward with a jah of tea. Everyone knew Lady Dabby was fond of tea so he took it upon himself to gift her with a jah of it from Prague. Unfortunately he was scammed and given a fake.

“Grandma lady, it is an honor for me to give you an original tea from Prague. A jar of these costs over 700 thousand dollars."

Everyone was in awe except for Danvers, he was familiar with such he moved forward and took some of it from the jah and smelled it. He burst out laughing. This made Stephen even angrier. He walked up to face Danvers.
