Danvers arranged himself on his seat and remained indifferent. This made Margaret more angry to see that an ungrateful brat like him didn't reply to what she just said. “How rude can you be?.

From the entrance cars were packed in the lot of the Dabby clan's villa. And they were all luxurious cars for sure. By the time they got there, the hall was filled up with members and guests. Some of them walked up to Rhina to greet them.

In such moments, Danvers was always treated like an outcast and was usually allocated to the same table with the maids far at the tail end of the hall. They made sure to keep him Invisible but that didn't matter to him he was out to fill his stomach cus he didn't know what awaited him at home. Especially with the behavior he had put up earlier on their way to the villa. Margaret was surely going to revisit the case later.

Nonetheless some people derive pleasure causing trouble such as Stephen Dabby. He seems to have a thing against Danvers from the very beginning, each time they meet, he made sure the whole environment became unbearable for Danvers but he was bent on ignoring him this time. Just then, a message entered his phone and quickly tapped to check.

“Done, just wait in a jiffy you will see results” almost immediately another notification popped up and when he opened it, it was a small video showing how Maxwell was being treated after his inability to pay his bills at the mountain hotel. He smiled “serve him right next time you won't go around messing with everyone you meet in the streets".he said to himself.

With a snap of a finger Stephen drew his attention back to him. " Aren't you our family live-in-son-in-law law?” What did you wear today!" He purposely spoke in a loud tone to draw the attention of others towards him.

“Danvers you borrowed a suit but forgot the shoes. How ridiculous can you be?. Or did you buy it? How much did it cost you?. His words made Danvers scan through the hall with all eyes on him.

“Mind the way you talk about my suit that cost tens of thousands” Danvers spoke nonchalantly. The crowd burst up in a roaring laughter but it didn't have a single effect on his personality or confidence.

“You better keep your mouth shut” said Rhina in a hash tone. She felt her pride rubbed to the mud once again. If not for the rules for no absenteeism for no reason Danvers wouldn't have shown up for the occasion. Stephen took this as an opportunity to play with Rhina's emotions after a long time.

“Ohh poor Rhina it's not like I am belittling your family just that your husband is wearing a high earned suit and can't even afford a pair of shoes for himself. Unlike you, you are having good shoes on, what did you say you both are to each other?” he laughed and continued

“Do you know how much these pairs of shoes I am wearing cost? It's a Zara custom made.”

With a smile can you guess how much it cost? Of course not, well it's 500 hundred thousand dollars. His words drew the attention of the young once towards him, the young invited ladies wished he was theirs while the young men became envious of him. Rhina on the other hand became speechless. Of course Stephen was right. She could never afford to buy a shoe for 500 hundred thousand dollars for Danvers. She felt like her world was coming to an end.

All of a sudden Danvers walked up to Stephen and bent to touch his shoes.

“Have you lost it?” Stephen exclaimed in anger, “who gave you the audacity to touch my shoes?"

"I think your customizer forgot to cut this edge of your shoes and cut out the thread properly, he even forgot to put the designer logo on it.” At the sight of these everywhere was silent shock to see that a loser like him had such knowledge when it comes to shoes.

“Moreover, aren't you ashamed to wear a photocopy to the birthday ceremony of your dearly beloved grandmother whom you can even kill for? what a shame.”

The crowd was still stunned at his words as they were still to be convinced that those words came out of Danvers' mouth.

“Lest I forget,my wife isn't too demanding. when it comes to her choice of shoes, she doesn't put much into those but when it comes to quality jewelry and accessories, she has good taste”

His words fell off one after the other. “The necklace and accessories she has on is called the worship of wrist which cost quite a fortune. If you have never heard of it then that's an assignment for you to read on G****e.”

At the mention of it all eyes were on Rhina. “Wow it's actually the real deal” the women draw closer to her trying to get a closer view. She instantly became the focus of attention and for the first time, she felt a sense of peace within her to have him as a husband. She looked at him with some admiration in her eyes.

On a second note, she thought about how Danvers came to get such information about what she was wearing. After thinking for a while, she thought he must have done some research on it before coming to the occasion therefore decided to follow the trend.

“What nonsense are you talking about Danvers? Stop spilling gibberish” Stephen cursed. Hearing Stephen’s angry voice from afar, Margaret quickly walked to the scene full of anger.

“Tahh"

Margaret slapped Danvers and everyone was surprised. The shock from the show made everyone confused. Some of them tried to record the scene but the lights were not clear enough to capture their faces clearly.

“What on earth are you talking about Danvers? I command you to apologize to Stephen immediately” she ordered authoritatively.

“He should apologize to me instead, I did nothing to him to ask for an apology"

“You must apologize to Stephen" Lady Dabby’s voice echoed from behind.
