Since the beginning of the day Ben was yet to see Mr. Green. He liked how kind the man had been towards him and Ben was doing his best to make sure he did not get on the bad books of Mr. Green and so far he was succeeding until One hour later, Mr. Green called him into his office. As he went, Brown looked at him knowingly.

Ben understood. "I learnt that you were late today to work." Green said. "I am sorry sir, I know it is a lame excuse but I woke up late." Ben said. "I see. Whose fault is that?" Green asked him. Ben did

not respond. "Ben I like you and I would not want to give a negative report to Mr. Chamberlain about you because I also see that he is fond of you. Please let it not repeat itself again, Is that understood?" Mr. Green said.
