Chapter Thirty-two

Ben was able to see the on-coming vehicle and escape it by running across the road very fast. The car sped away and did stop.

Ben got up and he was breathing very fast. He just went through a death and life situation

where he could have died from a careless and reckless driver.

The reports came across to him and swamped him like bees on honey.

Mics were pointed at him. Cameras focused on him to explain how he escaped the near death

experience."Please let him be. He has nothing to say at this time." Mr. Murdoch came out of the court and whisked him away from the army of reporters.

"Where have you been? I have been waiting for you for about half an hour." Murdoch spoke to him in a less harsh but assertive way.

"I am sorry." Ben said. Ben was still shaken by what almost happened to him some moments ago. "What has gotten you shaken up?" Murdoch asked him feeling concerned for him.

Today was the day that the battle to

get out of this quagmire started and he needed Ben to be up to it. He
