“Are you deaf? I want you to scoop up that gum into your mouth.” Brody chuckled darkly. “Oh, and I better not see either of your hands move. You have to scoop it up off the ground with your tongue, like a good little dog would.”

That was it. Max had had enough of this humiliation. “Get away from me!” He slapped away Brody's hand still gripping his hair. “I won't take this anymore! You guys have gone too far!”

“Not far enough! You'll remain my dog until I'm satisfied!” Brody quickly kicked Max to the ground before the young man could get to his feet. He then turned to his henchmen. “What are you guys still standing over there for?! Hold this bastard down!”

The henchmen rushed over to do exactly what they were told. They forcefully held Max down on the ground, and Brody began stomping on his back. Max could only struggle against the henchmen in futility.

It was this horrible scene that Benjamin found when he finally came out of the restaurant. He was in momentary shock as he couldn't be
