[What's up, Hot stuff. I'm currently alone at my dorm. Get here as soon as you can, okay? I can't wait to have an amazing night with you. ]

Benjamin Knox - a tall young man with a lean but well-toned build - stood right outside the dormitory of his girlfriend. He was currently in an excited state as he checked his cheap phone for the tenth time, reading the text message his lover had sent him earlier today.

“Could Alexa possibly be talking about something entirely different? Am I misinterpreting this text?” Benjamin whispered his scepticism to himself, as he still couldn't believe this.

Alexa, his girlfriend, had never invited him to her place before. More so, she has never agreed to have sex with him before. She wouldn't even agree to making their relationship public. Though Benjamin had never minded all that, believing that Alexa probably had her reasons. He had been willing to take care of her as best as he could, even giving her most of his salaries saved up from his several part-time jobs.

Benjamin calmed his excited heart as much as possible before he began to ascend the floors, heading straight to his girlfriend's apartment.

His mind couldn't stop creating scenarios of how his gorgeous girlfriend would meet him by the entrance.

The closer Benjamin got to the dorm apartment, the more he couldn't control his excitement. They were finally about to take their relationship a step further.

Minutes later, Benjamin now stood in front of Alexa's apartment.

“Oooh, right there. Oooh!”

“Mmmh! Do you like that, Baby?”

“Uhhh, yes! I like that a lot. Don't stop baby.”

Just as he was about to knock, he heard the sounds that made his heart freeze up.

No, it can't be Alexa!

It must be her roommate. He had heard from Alexa that her annoying roommate often took her boyfriend back.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm down.

“By the way, did you make sure that I get the scholarship this year? You know there's only one spot, and I want it for myself.”

Bomb!

Hearing the voice, he felt like hearing his heart broken.

It was her!

A masculine voice chuckled. “Don't worry; you know my dad donates large sum of money to the university annually. All I need to do is make one phone call to the authorities to secure the slot for you only. No one else would be able to get it. ”

Benjamin felt his heart sink further into his stomach as he recognized the man's voice - Andrew Tyrone.

He is the most wealthy student in the university, the son of a powerful family in the city. Despite his rich background though, Andrew had a bad reputation in terms of romance especially.

He was discovered to have once forced his pregnant girlfriend in the past to have an abortion. The girl didn't want to, so in order to get rid of her, Andrew paid someone to beat her up until it resulted in her miscarriage. However, the after effects were quickly settled by his father.

Benjamin could only soak in the bitterness as his brain put together the pieces. He really didn't expect his girlfriend, Alexa, to willingly chose Andrew, of all people, just for the scholarship.

He was now fighting the strong urge to kick this door in right away, and that was when he heard his name from Andrew's mouth.

“The awarders were originally going to give it to that fucking loser, Benjamin Knox, due to his excellent grades and overall exceptional performance academically. But then I asked my father to grab the quota for me instead.” There was a dismissive tone in his voice, showing that he didn't care how this affected Benjamin.

He then heard a light gasp from Alexa before Andrew spoke to her.

“What? Oh, don't tell me you feel sorry for that guy.”

Alexa sneered at this. “Are you kidding? I've wanted to get rid of that poverty-stricken guy for a long time now. I only agreed to be with him just because he was persistent, and even quite good to me. Plus, he was willing to work hard for me. Even though I've been with him for a year, I wouldn't even get in the same bed with him.” She sighed. “It didn't even take me long to see him as the bastard he truly is. He doesn't even know who his parents are. He was raised by that cleaner he has for a grandmother. Such a filthy person is not worthy of me at all.”

Hearing the conversation to this point, Benjamin's eyes were glistening as he tightened his fist with anger.

True to Alexa’s words, he was raised by his grandmother, never knowing the identity of his real parents. This was the biggest pain in his heart and he rarely mentioned it to others, only trusting Alexa with it, and yet, his trust was betrayed.

“Unbelievable, I never thought he had such a pathetic background.” Andrew spoke with a belittling tone. “Even if his mother had him with a street dog, he should know who his father was.”

That bastard!

Benjamin's blood was boiling as he heard this. How dare he insult his parents like that!

Gritting his teeth, he kicked the door open.

“Fucking hell, Benjamin!”

Now that the conversation around Norman Sullivan was done with, Hunter cleared his throat, his demeanor showing that he was setting a serious mood.“Now, would you like to know about your parents, my boy?”The mood definitely followed Hunter's setting and Benjamin sat with a slightly hunched posture.“My parents. Grandpa, how long have you known about the death of my parents?”Hunter shared a look with Herbert McKlin before answering with an awkward expression.“I….I've known the truth about the death of my son and daughter-in-law for a few years, before I reached out to you.”Benjamin stared at his grandfather in utter silence that was heavy with tension.“You knew that my parents were murdered all these years, and you never mentioned it to me. Grandpa, what if we never discovered the things we know now? Would you have ever told me the truth?”Hunter sighed, bringing a hand to his temple.“First of all, my boy, I would like to apologize to you. Benjamin, I'm sorry that I kept the tr

  • Chapter 692

Since the Wood family's rebellion was something that began due to the horrible treatment they received at the hands of the elders at the time, and that entire incident was related to the existence and acknowledgement of Norman Sullivan, the truth about the rebellion of the Wood family could not be revealed.April shook her head.“It is understandable that the Wood family got what they deserved. Not the part where they never got the compensation they demanded for. That part was horrible. But rebelling and taking actions to usurp the Whiteridge family's notable members was definitely a choice that required meticulous planning. As soldiers made powerful and extraordinary, they have sworn to submit their lives in absolute loyalty to us. The fact that they developed the desire to wipe out the important members of their master family, shows that they've been a threat to the system.”She nodded her head firmly.“They deserved what they got. But…..”Seeing his girlfriend turn to him, Benjami

  • Chapter 691

Benjamin read the files and immediately understood the diabolical ways in which Norman had massacred so many people within the prime estate that awful day.He had learned their weaknesses, biologically and strategically. Through his endless trials and errors, Norman Sullivan had come to understand the biological structure of everyone, mostly humans, but more specifically, the members of the Whiteridge family's Prime Estate's barracks. The Whiteridge soldiers have always been Norman's primary source of inspiration, as all the endless experiments he conducted for years were aimed at further enhancing the genetic alterations of the Whiteridge soldiers, thereby increasing the family's core support in terms of both quantity and quality. After all, the desire was to dominate the entire globe, and that needed to start by dominating the superhuman production market, according to Norman.Hunter sighed, massaging his temple as this entire history narration was causing him a headache.“Norman

  • Chapter 690

Way too many people had begun to suspect Norman of the mysterious corpses that were found to be glowing on and around the prime estate. “But my older brother was always incredibly brilliant, finding scapegoats and loopholes to bypass the suspicions from landing firmly on him.”“The experiments done on trafficked victims were paused. In fact, Norman paused the entire trafficking at the time. But letting watchful eyes shift from you and your people is incredibly hard. It wasn't that Norman didn't have the patience, but it was more so that he couldn't stop the strong itch that was his desire to resume the experiments as soon as possible.”“But since he couldn't dare resume trafficking victims from outside the prime estate, Norman developed an insanely bold idea.”April's friend deepened as she felt a trace of dread from Great Master Hunter, who was making the recounts.“Don't tell me……he began using people within the prime estate as his lab rats."Benjamin recalled what his grandfather

  • Chapter 689

Great Master Hunter Whiteridge sent on to talk about how Norman Sullivan had long been killing his pets through experiments that started out as a curiosity filler.“By his teenage years, Norman had gotten bored with experimenting on animals. Around that time, he had long become estranged from the rest of us, his siblings, and even our mother, the matriarch.”“Around that time, we all just assumed that Norman was dedicated to achieving his goal of solidifying his status as the heir apparent. My mother mentioned that despite the fact that I was the closest to challenging my older brother for that position, Norman was simply too ahead of me in the game. He already amazed so much support for himself, and at that point, I gave in. I chose to focus on simply doing my best.”Hunter smirked, letting a low and brief airy chuckle.“Maybe that's why I ended up becoming the heir apparent after Norman was ostracized, and then later exiled from the Whiteridge family.”Benjamin shook his head.“But

  • Chapter 688

“Norman Sullivan Whiteridge. That's his name, my boy.”Hunter's answer made Benjamin and April exchange a look of relief. Finally getting an actual name to this face felt like a milestone had actually been reached.“Grandpa, how exactly is Norman Sullivan related to this family?”Hunter exchanged a look with Prime Butler Herbert McKlin before sighing.“Benjamin, he's my older brother, your granduncle.”Benjamin's eyes became measured, composing himself as he listened attentively to everything that would be said from here on.“My granduncle, huh? So he is one of the direct descendants of the patriarch before you.”The Great Master Hunter raised an index finger.“Don't forget, it wasn't a patriarch that existed before me, it was a matriarch. My mother was the great madam of the Whiteridge family at the time.”He allowed a moment of silence to pass before he explained further.“As you may have noticed, Norman's identity, picture, or any form of details, as well as proof of existence, ha
