Chapter 2

“Fucking hell, Benjamin!” Alexa screamed as she and Andrew dashed for their discarded clothes to cover themselves. “Why the hell did you break into my apartment?! Do you have any idea how much of your salary it would take to fix that?!”

Benjamin paid no mind to those words as he pointed at the entire scenery. “Is this why you sent a text? To see all these?” His voice was eerily low.

Alexa had a confused expression. “What are you saying? I didn't send you a te….” She paused her words as a realisation crossed her mind. She stared at Benjamin as it became clear that she had accidentally sent her boyfriend a text which was never meant for him. It was meant for Andrew instead.

Alexa and Andrew had actually agreed much earlier to meet at her dorm apartment. The text message she had then sent to Benjamin by mistake was supposed to be a reminder for Andrew. In the end, Andrew Tyrone came to her apartment as scheduled, but now, her mistake had led to her hidden affairs with Andrew being exposed to Benjamin. Now, she was in trouble.

But then Alexa quickly adjusted her mental state. This could definitely be a blessing in disguise for her. She had wanted to get rid of Benjamin for a while. Now that this situation has suddenly occurred, it's a smart move on her part to take full advantage of the situation and break off her already weakened ties with Benjamin.

Alexa's facial expression quickly went from slight guilt to a cold one. “Yes, I sent you that text message because I wanted you to see me and Andrew together. So what?” She shrugged her shoulders, her demeanour matching the nonchalance in her tone.

Benjamin felt like a dagger of ice had been stabbed through his heart. “What?” He whispered out. “You're joking, right? Tell me this was all a mistake, please.” He shifted his gaze to glare coldly at Andrew before pointing at him. “It was you, wasn't it? You tricked her! You manipulated her into having sex with you! And all for what?! A freaking scholarship?!”

Before Andrew could even reply, Alexa began giggling like a maniac. “Oh my goodness, Benjamin. You know, for an exceptionally brilliant student, you sure are very daft when it comes to recognizing reality.” She stared at Benjamin with a disdainful stare as she resumed wearing the rest of her dress. “I want you to get through your thick skull. Andrew didn't trick me. I wanted to have sex with him, and I absolutely enjoyed every moment with him.”

Benjamin's burning fury was doused with Alexa's cold words within seconds, and he stared at his girlfriend with glazed eyes. “B…Babe, that's not true, right?”

“It is true, you piece of trash!” Alexa snapped at him loudly, pushing him an inch back. “You, Benjamin Knox, are not worthy of me at all. From today onward, the two of us are officially broken up. It's over between us.” She then pointed in the direction of the door. “Now, get the hell out of here. I was still in the middle of chatting with my guest.” She shamelessly turned a flirtatious smile to Andrew who winked back at her.

Andrew was incredibly happy at the way Alexa had broken things off, leaving Benjamin looking like a big fool. He cleared his throat as he walked closer to Alexa, and pulled her towards him by the waist, before looking at Benjamin condescendingly.

“Are you deaf or something, Benjamin? Didn't you hear the sexy lady telling you to fuck off like the street dog that you are?” His cold face then turned arrogant as he raised an eyebrow with an annoying smirk. “Or could it be that you want to watch me go round two on her? I can guarantee that my performance is top notch. I can make her lose her mind with just my touch. It definitely won't be a disappointing show.” Without any warning, he grabbed Alexa's neck and pulled her face in for a steamy kiss, causing Alexa to moan lowly. He didn't waste another second as his hand snaked down Alexa's back to grab a handful of her butt, earning an excited yelp from Alexa.

“Oh my goodness, you're such a tease.” Alexa lightly slapped Andrew's chest once the steamy kiss ended, while giggling with a flirtatious stare.

“Fuck you!” Benjamin could no longer bear the complete disrespect and humiliation he was being forced to endure. He rushed towards Andrew and punched him in the face, forcing him to separate from Alexa. He then began beating Andrew up.

“Benjamin, let him go right now!” Alexa's yelling was in vain. Benjamin was in a totally furious state, and all he desired right now was to make Andrew pay in the way he can.

The scene quickly became chaotic, and it got so loud that it was soon noticed by the other students, who gathered at the entrance to find what was going on. They could all see two men in a brutal tussle.

Andrew found himself at a disadvantage, until he saw the gathering crowd outside the room. “Anyone who helps me beat up this lunatic will be given $5,000 each!”
