Chapter 27

Benjamin could only stare at Anthony dumbly while assimilating the latest information. “I see.” This was all he could say turning into a rambling mess, as he was still trying to gather his thoughts.

Anthony smiled warmly as he could tell that the young man wasn't over the surprise. “Young Master Benjamin, do you need a moment of privacy?”

This spurred Benjamin into breaking out of his stunned state, and he cleared his throat. “Oh, um….. I'm fine. It's fine. But….” He turned his gaze to his old woman still sewing patiently on the public bench.

Benjamin knew that he needed to inform her. This would mean that it was time he told her his identity. It would be wrong to keep such an important part of himself away from the woman who has loved him all his life despite them not being blood-related at all.
