Chapter 13: Is he a regressor?

The academy hall was the gathering place for all the students when there were various important announcements, parties, and banquets. With a hall capacity that could accommodate around 10,000 people, the academy hall boasted great splendor.

Currently, the academy's hall is used to carry out the academy's final test. Thus, there were only examiners inside the academy hall.

"Wow… this place is really big and very spacious."

"Right. Even the carvings and architecture of this hall are truly magnificent."

Almost all the participants were amazed by the sight in front of them. To those ordinary people, seeing the magnificent buildings of White Snow Academy was a completely new experience for them.

"I should be able to enter the academy. It's the only way to change my fate."

Elvin is one of them. He comes from an ordinary family without any background. Since childhood, he has had a higher mana sensitivity and is very fluent in performing magic compared to other children his age.

Living in Ernest's city is a very hard thing for ordinary people like him. A city where many well-known organizations and unknown underworld currents have gathered. Although it belongs to the territory of the eternal kingdom, Ernest City is an independent territory and is not directly regulated by the eternal kingdom. Because of that, Ernest's city had no support from the kingdom and existed as a semi-independent region.

That was why, if one had high enough mana sense, they would try their luck at White Snow Academy. Those who are accepted there will be guaranteed to have a bright future because graduates of the white snow academy are sought after by various organizations. If they were lucky, white snow academy would even offer to join them.

"Don't be too nervous Elvin. If you continue like that, you won't be able to pass the final test."

"I don't want my rival to lose not being accepted while I'm being accepted into the academy."

Elvin looked at the people behind him. It was a man with a rather large body. He was wearing a blood-red outfit with hand guards covering his wrists. Very different from Elvin who only wears ordinary clothes.

"I'm not nervous Marcus. This is just my excited expression." Elvin smiled at his friend.

In contrast to Elvin who is an ordinary person, Marcus is a descendant of a member of a medium-level organization in the city of Ernest called 'Red Panther'.

The two meet each other by accident and have been friends since childhood and often train together. So they are already very familiar with each other.

Amidst the tumultuous atmosphere of the people in the hall, Everyone turned their eyes toward the people at the back of the hall.

"Hey look, there they are."

"I really can't believe I got to meet them. The greatest genius in the entire eternal kingdom and the Successor of the Astrea honorable family. Raven Astrea. The son of the eternal kingdom's great magician, Neilson Victorius. There was even a daughter from the wishborn family who was famous for her spear arts. Rachel."

All the participants were amazed to see them. Even Elvin and Marcus were amazed to see the three of them. They were like the stars in the distant sky that people like him couldn't reach. Moreover, they are very handsome and beautiful.

"So that's why there are very few girls in this hall." Elvin looked around him. At first, he felt very strange, why there were mostly men in this hall.

Finally, the question was answered as he looked at the three people. No, it should be four people.

Elvin looked at the one woman behind. Her presence was so subtle that people barely noticed him. Even Marcus didn't realize it and only focused on the three people.

'Ah, She's gone away.' Elvin saw her walk away from the crowd. Several people with similar senses to Elvin also followed closely before losing completely.

"What do you see." Marcus asked curiously. He followed the direction of his friend's gaze but found no one.

"No. Nothing." Elvin shook his head.' Forget it. She's in a very different league than me'

Raven group stopped at the front of the line.

Behind them, the girls followed the raven with blushing faces. They couldn't take their eyes off Raven face.

On the stage, Argon sat reading a book in his hand. "Okay, now that everyone has arrived. We can get started." He closed his book and got up from his chair.

Everyone's gazes were fixed on the person on the stage. There, a man in a blue suit with a white robe with gold embroidery covering half of his shoulders.

"Congratulations, you've finished the academy entrance exams. Step by step you guys are getting closer to becoming disciples of the white snow academy." Argon gave a small applause. The book that was originally in his hand had disappeared in thin air

"Introducing, My name is Argon. The person in charge of overseeing this final test. Some of you may know me, some may not. But such small differences mean nothing to me. In my eyes, everyone is equal. I only distinguish one thing, those who pass and those who don't."

Everyone stared nervously. for ordinary people, they don't know the identity of the person in front of them. But a small percentage of people who have a background will be nervous if they see it in person.

The space controller. That is the nickname he has. A pure magician focused on spatial magic.

A pure magician was quite a rare existence in this world. They were people who specialized in the mana within their bodies to focus on magic.

Even though there were very few of them, no one dared to underestimate a pure magician. On the battlefield, there was a famous saying 'If you see a group and it has a pure magician, get rid of them first or you'll be in trouble.'

Argon continued and displayed a large screen behind him. "Now, let's see a bit about what you guys have been through so far."

Everyone focused on the screen. There, the test flow that they have gone through starts from registration to the written test.

"The first test is a test that tests each of your mana senses. There, you will be tested on your senses, your mental endurance, and your strength. Those who meet the criteria will be given the appropriate card to continue with the next test." Argon showed the white card in his hand.

"Test, it was done during your registration. Those who are here show that you have met the most basic criteria that we want."

Many people immediately pulled out their respective cards. Some were calm because they already knew how the test would go, while others were shocked while looking at the cards in their hands. Elvin is in the last group.

He held the card in his hand with a relieved expression. "Seriously, even though this test looks simple on the outside, why is it so difficult." He muttered silently.

He understood the meaning of the words of the person called argon. It wasn't hard to deduce what he meant just from his explanation of the first test.

Since the start of registration until now, we have been closely watched by the academy's supervisors. They measure various parameters that are owned by all candidates who register.

But why do they do that?

That was the question that popped into his mind.

As if proving what he was thinking was correct, Argon continued his explanation.

"The second test is a written test, in this test the candidates will be tested on their understanding of the theory. Besides…" Argon showed a smile on his face

"You must remember about the documents provided, the results of the written test will determine 30% of your test scores." Everyone nodded their heads. The second test was unreasonable, so they were betting their fate on this final test.

"I will congratulate those who have worked hard on the second test. That will be your ticket to qualify for this final test." Argon waved his hand. The screen behind him changed to show the last test. On the screen, the order from first to fifth is covered in black.

Everyone looked nervous, some looked desperate when they heard it. In contrast to all, Raven seemed calm at his explanation he already knew everything about this test.

"Now I will give a brief introduction to this test…" Argon explained everything there was to know the same way he had explained to Ivo and handed out pins to all the candidates.

On the other hand…

'Where is he?' Raven looked around him. He had found not the slightest trace of Ivo since he entered the hall.

In his view, Ivo Graham is an unknown variable. He had never appeared during the previous timeline. Because of that, he attempts to keep an eye on him and investigate who he is...

"The heir to the Heart of fearlessness never appeared until the tomb of the undefeated king appeared." Raven memorized some important information in her head.

In the previous timeline, when the tomb of the undefeated king appeared to the world, the entire world trembled at its majesty. All the powerhouses rushed to the tomb and fought until the end for the greatest inheritance of the undefeated king.

Heart of fearlessness.

Raven had participated in that terrible war and survived even though he almost died. Thus he knew, the heir of the heart of fearlessness was never known. He instantly disappeared after inheriting it and never appeared again.

"It is impossible for the heir to appear at this time. If he entered that tomb, the whole world would know about it. The mechanism inside the tomb will trigger instantly." He knew it because the one who had triggered his appearance was himself in the past.

Raven didn't want to remember the madness. He focused on how Ivo could get him. What's more, he didn't trigger the invincible king's meal emergence mechanism.

"Unless…" Raven shook her head. He denied his thoughts, but nevertheless, there remained a possibility that he did too. The fact that the inheritor of the heart of fearlessness had never been exposed before he did the regression strengthened his mind on this point.

"Is he also a regressor?"
