Halloween Night

Ajax had accompanied Elena on the way back to her dorm. He could not believe that nearly everything he thought he knew about her were lies.

Apparently, he was being too inquisitive the day they met and she had to lie just to be safe. Ajax could not just tell her that he was not the one that was being inquisitive but it was his system.

He could already picture her staring at him like he had grown two heads or like he had gone mad. So he kept quiet and walked her to her dorm.

“Thank you for tonight. I’m really sorry it had to be cut short.” Elena apologized as they got to the front of her dorm.

Ajax nodded. “It’s fine. It’s not your fault. I do hope your roommate is fine. We could do this some other time if you don’t mind though.”

Elena smiled at him. She reached forward and gently placed her lips on his cheeks, pecking him good night. She turned and disappeared into the dorm.
