41. Blame

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the city, Sebastian's car pulled into the driveway of the Butler's modest villa.

It had been an exceptionally long and grueling day at the office, one of those days that seemed to stretch on endlessly.

The traffic had been relentless, making the commute home feel even more arduous than usual.

With a weary sigh, the driver of the car finally turned off the ignition and stepped out of his car to open the gate for his master, Sebastian.

Sebastian came out of the car and walked away. His footsteps echoed on the concrete path leading to the front door, a stark contrast to the bustling city sounds he had just left behind.

The soft hum of crickets and the distant chirping of birds greeted him as he approached his front door.

He went straight towards his bedroom which he was going to share with Amelia.

Unlocking the door, he entered his room, welcoming darkness all around. The lights of the room were switched off and silence
