6. Humiliation

Sebastian arrived at the most famous bank of the city. This is the place where he could use his bank card to withdraw the cash and go for a shopping after that.

He parked his scooter at the parking area, where there were already many luxury cars were parked.

But when he entered the bank, everyone stopped working and stared at him with weird eyes.

Whispers and murmurs spread like wildfire, catching the attention of curious onlookers.

Everyone present there couldn't resist sharing speculations and gossip about the unexpected sight before them.

Some wondered if it was a prank or a misplaced individual, while others couldn't help but speculate about Sebastian's background and reasons for donning such an attire.

The scene became a mixture of amusement, intrigue, and perhaps a touch of judgment, as the contrast between the delivery boy uniform and the elegant bankers ensembles sparked a flurry of conversations and raised eyebrows.

As this bank serves for the richest guy in this city, everyone wears fancy here except Sebastian who was still wearing his delivery boy uniform dress.

But due to the previous incident he had with the receptionist girl, he was now used to the strange sight, people were looking at him so he really did not care about their weirdly staring at him amidst their work.

He gently went to the counter avoiding everyone's gaze on him.

As he approached the bank clerk's counter, her expression shifted to a condescending smirk upon seeing his attire.

"Hello Ma'am I wanted to withdraw some cash from here.",Sebastian said looking at the lady who was the bank clerk.

The Bank clerk looked in his direction and frowned.

She covered her nose and mouth as if Sebastian was smelly.

"You could go to the ATM.", The bank clerk sneered.

"The ATM could not help me.", Sebastian refused her offer looking at her.

"The minimum denomination of an ATM is 20 dollars, if you don’t have that much money, you should go somewhere else instead of our bank.", The bank clerk mocked him. "We only serve the richest guy in the city, we only have 50 and bigger cash.", She added.

She couldn't resist making a snide remark, mocking him for his appearance and presuming him to be financially disadvantaged.

"But I...", Sebastian's words were cut in between by the Bank clerk and she could not let him complete his sentence.

With a haughty tone, the bank clerk belittled Sebastian, questioning his reasons for being in the bank and implying that he might not have enough money to withdraw.

Her judgmental attitude was evident as she made assumptions based solely on his clothing.

Sebastian, though taken aback by the clerk's attitude, maintained his composure and politely explained that he had a legitimate reason to withdraw cash.

Despite his explanation, the clerk continued to treat him dismissively, causing discomfort and embarrassment.

Unbeknownst to the clerk, Sebastian's delivery boy uniform was merely a part-time job he was doing to fully fill his ex-girlfriend's demands which seems like never ending. The memories of his past relationship flooded his mind.

He recalled how he had taken up the part-time job as a delivery boy to fulfill her endless demands for expensive gifts, dinners at fancy restaurants, and luxurious outings.

Sebastian had believed that his efforts would make her happy and that she genuinely loved him for who he was.

However, as time passed, he began to notice a pattern.

His ex-girlfriend seemed more interested in the material things he could provide than in the person he was.

The realization hit him hard - her affection was conditional, based on his ability to lavish her with gifts and money.

The memory of the painful breakup resurfaced, and he felt a deep sense of sadness.

It was evident now that she never truly loved him; she was drawn to someone else who had greater wealth and status, discarding their relationship without a second thought.

He couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - disappointment, hurt, and a tinge of regret for not recognizing the signs earlier.

But amidst the sadness, a sense of growth and self-awareness started to take root. He knew that he deserved someone who loved him unconditionally, beyond material possessions.

Sebastian understood that the breakup had taught him a valuable lesson about the importance of self-worth and the true meaning of love.

He wished for the chance to be seen beyond his clothing, but the bank clerk's prejudiced mindset clouded her judgment.

"I don't understand why people become so curious to judge someone without knowing their side of the story?

We are no one to judge someone without giving them a chance to explain themselves and present their side of point of view. But I guess, in my case everyone is ready to judge me on my looks. ", Sebastian talked to himself in his mind.

The scene was a stark reminder of how appearances can lead to unjust assumptions, highlighting the importance of treating everyone with respect and fairness, regardless of their attire or background.

At that very moment , a security officer came in and asked, “Whose scooter was there outside? it blocks the way”.

Everyone  started laughing because all of them have luxury cars.

The clerk mocked “I think I know who had that scooter."

The  bank clerk did not miss any chance of mocking Sebastian as she was really enjoying it.

Hearing the noise the Bank manager came out of his cabin. He frowned looking at his surroundings.

" What happened? ", The bank manager asked.

" Sir, this man was here to make trouble. He was just wasting our time amidst our working hours.", The clerk informed the bank manager instantly.

Hearing her words, Sebastian sneered.

"I wanted to withdraw some cash.",Sebastian said, taking out his bank card and forwarding it in the bank manager's direction to show him.

The moment the manager saw the bank card, he was terrified as hell.

He bowed to Sebastian and apologized, making everyone present there shocked.
