First Mission

The guards immediately approached the three of them when they arrived at the entrance. But Rex casually ignored them, apparently the guards also let them in.

Inside the castle was quite crowded, lots of sword knights were there. Their attention was immediately drawn to the three of them who had just entered. Almost all of their gazes were the same as the people outside. Calvin was surprised by Rex and Livy, he was used to that look. For Calvin it makes him very uncomfortable.

“Hey hey hey, look who's here,” said one of them.

Someone with a large body blocked the steps of the three of them, his gaze looked very disdainful of them. Rex who was walking at the front stopped his steps. The atmosphere in the room actually became a little quiet when that person faced Rex.

“Shouldn't a loser guild like you guys have disbanded already? You guys without the Commander are nothing.”

Rex's gaze was very sharp to that person. He was Dante, a member of the Praying Mantis guild, from the way he spoke, it was obvious that he was an arrogant person. Dante looked at the sword that Livy was sword, it was the sword that was being fought over by the Blue Whale guild.

"Low-life people like you don't deserve to hold that sword, I thought you guys had all disappeared but apparently there are still two losers like you left," said Dante with a sinister smile.

Calvin, who heard Dante's words, was a little annoyed, he remembered that this kind of thing had often happened in his class. Calvin walked past Dante, of course it made Dante angry for ignoring him. Dante immediately pointed his sword at Calvin and started screaming.

"Who are you!! How dare you walk past me like that!”

Calvin's steps stopped when he saw the sword that was near his neck, he just sighed while looking down. Calvin moved his hand slowly, seeing Calvin moving everyone who was with Dante got ready and pulled out his sword simultaneously.

"Which toilet is it? I feel like pooping," Calvin said while stroking his stomach.

“Dutttt!”

Clavin's fart sounded loud, it made the people around him reflexively move away from Calvin, while Calvin himself just smiled while scratching his head.

"Damn you!! Are you making fun of me?!” shouted Dante even louder.

“No, I really want to go to the toilet. Ahh it seems over there," said Calvin as he walked away.

This of course made Dante even angrier, he ran after Calvin and immediately slashed his sword at Calvin from behind. But before Dante's sword hits Calvin someone screams.

"Stop! If you guys want to fight do it outside!”

Dante stopped moving and drew his sword back then put it in his sheath. His face looked dissatisfied, he immediately ignored his gaze while Calvin kept walking to the toilet.

Dante walked past Rex and Livy. "Don't expect any of you to get away!"

Rex and Livy looked calm and then ignored Dante's words, they both walked towards one of the officers who were there. Everyone in the room seemed to be ignoring them. The officer with a lazy expression greeted them both.

"So what do you guys want?" asked the officer.

“I want to make sure that the Dark Wolf guild still exists and is still active. That way we can still accept any mission from the kingdom," said Rex.

“With just two people what missions can you do? Catching a lost noble's pet or helping with the noble's garden?” asked the officer.

“No, we can still carry out our usual missions as Dark Wolves.”

“Alright then, I will report this to the royal data.”

“Thank you, then can we take on our next mission?” he asked.

"Black Wolf huh .." said the officer while opening the mission note.

Guilds are royal auxiliary troops that carry out various missions. The mission given depends on the achievements obtained from the guild itself, the better the achievement, the greater the mission received and of course you will get a bigger fee too. Everyone can register their guild by undergoing various tests, if they pass then the guild name will be registered in the kingdom. The first mission they get is of course the simplest mission, all in stages to a high level.

“I'm not too sure about you guys, but according to your ranking there is a mission that has never been completed until now. You may accept or reject it," said the officer when he found the mission note.

"What's that?"

“There is a blue scale dragon that resides in the eastern forest, many guilds have come there but none have been successful. The dragon is quite dangerous and has the potential to destroy the city, therefore this is an order from work to slay the dragon, the reward that will be received is quite high. Just bring the 10 blue dragon scales as proof that you have killed it. Remember you will never get those scales if you don't kill them. How?"

"Of course we will take this mission," said Rex firmly.

"Okay, I'm not expecting much from you guys."

"Does not matter."

After accepting the mission and confirming that the Dark Wolf guild was still there they prepared to head out of that place. Suddenly Calvin was back and walked over to the two of them. He looks like he's done with his stomach. Rex gave the code to Calvin to leave there, Calvin just followed Rex and Livy's steps without asking anything.

While they were walking, Calvin's stomach suddenly sounded loud enough to reach Rex and Livy's ears.

"Does your stomach always growl that loud?" Rex asked, looking at Calvin.

"Looks like we really need to eat," said Livy.

"I'm an ordinary human who needs to eat, it's only natural that I'm hungry now," Calvin answered innocently. “Rex, can you carry me? My body felt weak since the first trip earlier.”

"Won't. We only walk for a while from the base to the portal," Rex said quickly.

"What are your bodies made of? That's a huge distance. Isn't there any means of transportation here or something?”

"There are only horses that can be used, but now we don't have any."

"Irritating."

"Did you say something?"

"No."

Livy just took a short sigh looking at the two of them, but even so, the two of them got along really fast. They just met last night and almost killed each other. But today they look like friends since childhood.
