Suppressing Massive Enegy

After the riots caused by Dante ended, the three of them began their journey on their mission. It seems that this time Rex and Livy are starting to get used to Calvin, who is quite mysterious. They began to speed up their steps, deeper into the increasingly dense forest.

Calvin, who was the weakest among the three of them, suddenly stopped, of course he was someone who rarely did sports, most of his time was spent playing games and reading comics.

Rex and Livy looked back and found Calvin panting like someone who was about to die.

"Okay, let's rest for a while," said Rex.

Calvin's body looked weak, he immediately sat down and leaned his body against a tree. Livy walked over to Calvin and handed him a bag of drink. Without further ado, Calvin grabbed it and drank quickly.

"Soon we will reach the portal that connects us directly to the eastern forest area," said Livy to Calvin.

“Why don't we use the portal inside the city?” Calvin asked while trying to catch his breath.

“The portal only connects with other villages and there is also a special portal that leads directly to the royal capital. "Meanwhile, the eastern forest portal is in the forest, not just anyone wants to use that portal."

“Is the eastern forest really that dangerous?”

“Of course, no one has yet managed to explore the entire eastern forest. Many of them did not return after entering the eastern forest area.”

“Wow!” said Calvin with a big smile.

Rex and Livy were surprised when they heard Calvin's words with an excited expression, because most people would immediately lose their nerve. But Calvin is different, perhaps because he is not from this world.

Suddenly Rex and Livy felt something, Rex immediately pulled Calvin's body to quickly hide behind the bushes. Rex and Livy automatically suppressed their energy so they could not be detected. But not Calvin, they both immediately stared intently at Calvin, which of course made Calvin confused.

"What?" Calvin asked innocently.

Livy seemed to sigh. “Suppress your energy and merge with nature, so they can't detect us.”

“I see, okay.”

Calvin seemed to understand and immediately closed his eyes, he concentrated on suppressing all his energy as Livy said. Suddenly Calvin immediately opened his eyes again while scratching his head.

"How to?" Calvin asked with a confused expression.

Rex and Livy took another deep breath, they had completely forgotten that Calvin was new to their world, so he still needed to learn a lot. Rex approached Calvin and raised his hand above Calvin's head.

"Close your eyes."

Calvin immediately closed his eyes while Rex tried to concentrate on suppressing Calvin's selective energy. However, it took only a matter of seconds for Rex's hand to suddenly slam, this made Rex startled and he immediately grabbed his hand.

"Impossible!" said Rex.

"Hah? What's wrong Rex?" Calvin asked confused.

“Your energy is too great, I didn't know it would be like this.”

"Then, how?"

Livy tried to look towards the place where she felt the energy of someone approaching. Then Livy gave Rex a code to suppress Calvin's energy. They both placed their right hands on Calvin's chest and told Calvin to close his eyes again to concentrate. This time it was successful, the energy in Calvin's body could be suppressed so that no one could detect his presence.

Not long after, a group arrived from another guild. He is a member of the Silver Deer guild led by Commander Lucas. Suddenly they stopped because previously they felt a strong energy around that area.

"Quickly find out where the strong energy just now came from," said Commander Lucas ordering his subordinates.

They then checked that exact spot and found nothing. The three of them were lucky because they were able to suppress Calvin's energy in time, so they could hide. After feeling that there were no threats around them, the Silver Deer guild finally continued their journey. They can be heard talking about the place being destroyed and the huge explosion they heard. It was all the result of the fight between Dante and Calvin, it made the Silver Deer guild more alert.

Livy noticed that the group from the Silver Deer guild was also heading towards the portal to enter the eastern forest.

"How?" Rex asked after seeing the Silver Deer guild group leave.

"It's possible that they will head to the eastern forest. Whatever mission they are on, don't let them find out that we also have a mission in the eastern forest," Livy answered casually.

Hearing Livy's explanation, Calvin was silent and tried to understand what the two of them meant. Rex gave the code to continue the journey, but did not use the road taken by the Silver Deer guild. They entered the forest which was dense enough to eliminate traces, Rex himself had already predicted where they would go to get to the portal. They intended to let the Silver Deer guild enter first.

Not long after, they stopped and immediately looked for a suitable position to lurk. They could already see the eastern forest portal from a fairly close distance, but they had to make sure that the Silver Deer guild had entered first.

And sure enough, not long after, their group was seen. They were ready and standing in front of the portal, one by one they started to enter, started by Commander Lucas and followed by his men behind.

The three of them just noticed that and estimated the right time for them to enter. It is very important to put some distance between them.

“Do they have the same goal as us?” asked Calvin, who was sitting relaxed, leaning against a tree, looking up at the sky.

“I don't know, but it's possible considering that the quest to hunt the dragon is open to all guilds.”

“Why don't we just work with them? Wouldn't that make it easier to defeat the dragon?”

"Impossible. So far, no guild has ever worked together, because they keep trying to become the strongest guild so that no one dares to disturb them. Apart from that, they will also get more attention from the royal officials."

Calvin smiled sarcastically, he really understood what he had just explained. “To be number one, huh? Sounds interesting, why don't we try to be number one too?”

Hearing Calvin's question made Rex and Livy turn at the same time to Calvin, who looked relaxed. Remembering the events that had just happened to the two of them in succession. Being number one is of course impossible, just being able to survive is already a good thing.
