Seven days has passed. Within this period, all of the heroes from all twelve kingdoms made steady progress. They all trained and got stronger. The all fought and accumulated experience points. Various methods are used by these same heroes in order to ensure that they get the best results that could possibly be handed to them. And, for Zeke, this means pitting himself against Sylvia again. Engaging in combat against the female elf within the training grounds. This is the first time that they’re doing it again. After the first bout where Zeke simply got crushed miserably, this time he knows that things may be different. Things may go his way this time around because of a couple of factors. The first being that, he has gotten stronger since the first time they exchanged blows. He didn’t Think of doing this right away because of several reasons. But the primary one is because of his own pettiness. He doesn’t want to feel the very big gap between him and Sylvia anymore. He wants to focus o
The sound of steel clashing against steel can be heard echoing across the whole of the arena. There is a solitude that it creates for this is nothing more than a solitary sound. Without any other sound mixing with it. Yet, this only makes the sounds intensify even more. Reverbing with a strength and sharpness that cannot be produced by mere common fighters.True to this statement, the ones fighting in that moment are none other than Zeke and Sylvia. The human who is proclaimed as the hero of the Forge Kingdom and, the female elf who is the right-hand of the king of this crumbling empireOnly focus could be felt with every exchange made by these two. Everything within their environment is non-existent. It’s like they are within a separate space. One which can only be accessed by the two of them. That is what it felt like. That is what they’re being made to feel like and, anything less than that would mean the death of only one person. The loosing side of this bout – none other than Zek
My fellow spectator, we have now reached a point where the surface of the story has been scratched. Indeed, the world of Ragna is vast and, though the life of Zeke Elwood thus far seems to be peaceful, that is nothing more than a safety that is granted in the form of a privilege. After all, there will be no harm coming to Zeke Elwood because the kingdom he’s in is protected by the neighboring ones. That is also a testament to the strength of these said kingdoms. With the Elven Kingdom being one of the eleven that guards the safety and integrity of Forge. Among these is another that is problematic. Probably more so compared to the Elven kingdom and, this is none other than the kingdom of the Vampires. The Crimson Kingdom.“Octavia.” A teenager said, sitting on top of a mount of corpses. His upper shirt is already removed, revealing the well-cut muscles that are stained with the blood of those he slew. Yet there are no signs of any weapons being held by the said teen. The only thing th
Three more days have passed. Within this period, Zeke finally decided to head out and continue fighting the monsters of the demon lord. He has gathered enough information and, has also advanced in the way of making weaponry and equipment. Allowing him to get better gear which he can test out against the monsters or any bastard that dares try to get in his way.Though that in itself also has to wait because, within that same day, something else happened. A trouble occurred that is much larger than anything that Zeke had to face – a trouble that’s connected to a feat he just finished. That is, the murder of the elves including the general Adeline. This news is personally delivered to him by Sylvia. The dark elf rushed to the room where he’s in. Stopping Zeke in his preparations as the news is handed. This took away the grin on the hero’s face. Quite an understandable thing because the elves have ruined his plans.“They requested an audience with you my lord. Their queen herself has decr
A couple of hours after Zeke’s departure is announced, the hero decided to prepare his things. He placed these in his inventory and made as many things in the forge as needed. After all, he’s not sure that he can use a forge on another kingdom and, even if he could, there is a great chance that he will be stopped. There is also the chance that the forge isn’t as good as the one that Heimdal does which is actually the greatest chance of being the case since, it is agreed within the whole of the kingdom that Heimdal’s forge is the second best. Only being beaten by the king’s forge. Then there is the third problem which is that, there can be those that would scout him while he goes on the forge. Not only this but it will also reveal his secondary job class. A trait that he wants to keep a secret as much as he could. The less of his hand that he shows, the greater his chances of winning after all. So he’s going to keep these things to himself until he gets strong enough to not care about
Even before Zeke arrived in the training grounds, he can already hear the sound of metal clashing against metal. The loud sharpness of every swing that’s being made is only stopped by the collision made on other weaponry or armor. This means that the ones inside this place are training as if they are really fighting in the battlefield – the very instruction that Zeke gave to Sylvia.“I’m surprised they actually agreed to something like this.” Zeke began as he walked towards the entrance alongside Sylvia.“These are trained soldiers my lord. Even if they are only training and, even though you made them fight with real weapons, they are skilled enough to be able to control themselves before actually landing a finishing blow.” Sylvia said. “You seem to have a lot of pride in that don’t you?” Zeke added.“Of course my lord.” Sylvia replied with the same tone.Zeke can’t blame her for this. After all, these are the dark elves that are assigned to come with him to the Elven Kingdom. This m
Sylvia looked at Zeke for a couple of seconds. She didn’t move a single bit because of the statement that Zeke just made. The very fact that the hero of Forge has brought out his ego daggers means that Zeke truly means business and, what this implies is that Sylvia now has to talk some sense into the hero. After all, she doesn’t support this idea. Not in the slightest bit.“My lord, I don’t mean to sound like I don’t trust your skill but…”“Saying those very lines is a good indicator of that same thought though.” Zeke said in reply, cutting the dark elf from her trailing tone of voice even before she could finish.“You don’t think I can face them head on?” The hero added. The question that’s imposed isn’t meant to pressure Sylvia. Nor is this meant to humiliate her. Zeke merely asked this because he wants to know the reason behind Sylvia’s lack of confidence that he would be able to win against the three dark elves who are having a battle royal. An intent that that got through to Sylv
Zeke went and dived head first in the middle of the group. He didn’t even bother saying hello or making proper introductions. No. Zeke doesn’t think that all these formalities are that necessary when he can start things off with this much of a bang. Showing himself as he created a thick field of smoke. This immediately stopped all of the fighting that’s going on. The very purpose as to why Zeke made the field of smoke. He isn’t just doing this to show off or to make any sort of grand entrance. No. He wants to stop the fighting right away so that they can move on to the matter at hand. The thing that he wants to happen which will only start once he explains things to the three dark elves.“I think I’ve seen enough for today.” Zeke said as he made the field of smoke vanish. Unsing an item that is connected to the same one that created the effect. The black mist like smoke vanished in mere seconds. Revealing him to the three dark elves.“My lord!” This is the immediate response of the t
