Sylvia looked at Zeke for a couple of seconds. She didn’t move a single bit because of the statement that Zeke just made. The very fact that the hero of Forge has brought out his ego daggers means that Zeke truly means business and, what this implies is that Sylvia now has to talk some sense into the hero. After all, she doesn’t support this idea. Not in the slightest bit.

“My lord, I don’t mean to sound like I don’t trust your skill but…”

“Saying those very lines is a good indicator of that same thought though.” Zeke said in reply, cutting the dark elf from her trailing tone of voice even before she could finish.

“You don’t think I can face them head on?” The hero added.

The question that’s imposed isn’t meant to pressure Sylvia. Nor is this meant to humiliate her. Zeke merely asked this because he wants to know the reason behind Sylvia’s lack of confidence that he would be able to win against the three dark elves who are having a battle royal.
