Blacksmith Assassin Rules of the Battle
There are a couple of problems that Zeke needs to deal with. The first is his problem with range. As an assassin who wields dual daggers, this means that he doesn’t have much in this department. He needs to get close in order to land a hit on his opponents which, is close to impossible.The two female dark elves use bows as their primary weapons and, these same bows have blades at their tips. Making it possible for the said weapons to be used at close range if Zeke does close the gap between them. If this isn’t enough, the female elves also have their daggers to work with. Weapons which, though similar to Zeke’s, would still pose more problem for the hero because of how there would be two enemies waiting for him. There’s also a possibility for Zeke to get caught in a kind of attack from the other archer while he engages one of the two. This has a great possibility of leaving him with a large enough wound that he’d be set to lose because, there’s a third opponent that hasn’t even fit

The one that came forward to face Zeke in the beginning of all this is none other than Caster. The male dark elf that makes use of a halberd as his weapon. The posture of this fighter and, the way he holds his weapon makes it easy for Zeke to see that this is not an ordinary opponent. Not in the slightest bit. He knows that Caster will give him some trouble in the one on one but, not on a level where he won’t be able to fight back.“So, you’re the one that’s going first huh.” Zeke said as he also stood on his part of the battlefield.The other dark elves on standby are placed below the fighting grounds. This makes it so that they do not interrupt the flow of battle. This is also optimal because, they can choose where they’d position themselves to enter into the fight when their time arrives.“It’s an honor to be challenged by you my lord!” Caster bowed his head. Right before Zeke’s victory, these are the events that happened within the black smoke that he released. He made his way towards Caster. Intending to take down the dark elf with one shot. But, unlike what he imagined, the said dark elf isn’t that easy to beat. Not in the slightest bit.As he went for the stab, the head of the dark elf tilted towards him. This made Zeke wary all of a sudden. Forcing him to change the point where he is to attack and, as soon as this hesitation jumped in, Caster is able to close the gap between them as well. The dark elf forced his eyes to open even in that painful black smoke.Even with just a tiny opening in his eyes, Caster is able to launch a powerful forward thrust. Going straight towards Zeke which would’ve been lethal as well. That is, if not for the fact that the accuracy of the dark elf is greatly decreased. Zeke lost.After five minutes passed, Zeke is unable to take down the two opponents that are pitted against him. Though he didn’t find any difficulty taking down Caster when he fought the dark elf one on one, now that there is a ranged attacker adding to the mix, this changes altogether.Zeke is hit early on and, the momentum of his enemies only continued increasing after that point. Even though Zeke has yet to show all of his cards in that fight, it is still not enough for him to gain the upper hand. Everything he tried after Aries stepped in is negated. All of his effort is wasted and, he is left in a pitiful state where his shoulder and leg have been wounded to the point that, he easily became prey to the two dark elves.There are other tricks that he wanted to use but, Zeke decided not to let these out just yet. There are a couple of things that Zeke confirmed from the first fight against the two dark elves. First is that, they are good as a combination. Though he can take one of the two down by himself, this feat cannot be done when there are two enemies instead. As it stands, when there are two of them, their strength also multiplies exponentially. Not just twofold but, probably even threefold. That is why Zeke had a hard time taking them down. He overestimated himself and his own capacities and he paid a hefty price for it.That being said, all of this has now passed. Zeke has learned his lesson the hard way. But now that he has, there is no way that he will lose anymore. Not by any long shot. Not in the slightest bit. Though this idea doesn’t run similarly in the heads of his opponents.With the performance that he displayed earlier, he’s sure that they are already looking down on him a little. The fight began and broke out with Zeke making the first move. The hero of Forge didn’t waste any time and closed the gap between him and his two opponents. Using up his [Lethal Tempo] in order to do so as quickly as possible. But, it seems that this effort is wasted because, right as soon as he finished making his move and, right before he can even attack, Aries is already poised to strike him.Normally, this would make anyone shocked. It would be easy to see someone unable to react to something like this. But this rule doesn’t apply to Zeke because, unlike a normal human, Zeke knows what he’s doing. And part of this knowledge is that the enemies that he currently has are going to be able to react to him…just as he expected.“Perfect.”As soon as Zeke said this word, black smoke spread across the whole battlefield. “My queen.”“Ah. Sylph, just the elf that I wanted to see.” The queen of the elves sat on her high throne.The distance between her and the elf she’s talking to is far enough for her to snipe Sylph. It’s far enough for her to kill Sylph without taking any damage. Though there is no need to do something like that because, there is no reason to. Sylph is her most trusted ally after all. And, more than that, Sylph is her secret lover. One who has been secretively making love with the hero of their kingdom behind her back.“We’ve just finished the other part of the hero’s training.” Sylph bowed down. A sign of both respect and formality.Even the queen’s lover needs to show this much reverence if there are guard elves that are watching nearby. They need to be formal. Not their usual way of speaking but, one that doesn’t bother them nevertheless.“So it would seem.” The queen responded in an indifferent tone. “She’s killed plenty of our human slaves. We don’t have enough now to go around.

Zeke’s training continued on for quite some time. We are now using the term training because that is precisely what happened shortly after the fight resumed. The hero had the upper hand slightly taken when he was able to launch the ten smokes that scattered across the battlefield. This negated the spell that Caster just used to wipe away the smoke and, even increased it to the point of zero visibility.Zeke also launched a couple more tricks that he still has up his sleeve. He didn’t just stop with this and continued on to as many as he could do. Forcing situations to happen as he tried his best to maintain his advantage against his enemies. But none of that mattered. Five minutes passed without him getting any solid victory and, as this happened, the final dark elf entered the scene. And with the three dark elves working together, it didn’t even take a whole minute for Zeke to be absolutely destroyed. Over and over again, the fights restarted.
