Zeke lost. After five minutes passed, Zeke is unable to take down the two opponents that are pitted against him. Though he didn’t find any difficulty taking down Caster when he fought the dark elf one on one, now that there is a ranged attacker adding to the mix, this changes altogether.Zeke is hit early on and, the momentum of his enemies only continued increasing after that point. Even though Zeke has yet to show all of his cards in that fight, it is still not enough for him to gain the upper hand. Everything he tried after Aries stepped in is negated. All of his effort is wasted and, he is left in a pitiful state where his shoulder and leg have been wounded to the point that, he easily became prey to the two dark elves. There are other tricks that he wanted to use but, Zeke decided not to let these out just yet. After all, some of the materials in his arsenal cannot be duplicated that easily. The very same reason why he’s only relying on the smoke bombs in that fight. These are, a
There are a couple of things that Zeke confirmed from the first fight against the two dark elves. First is that, they are good as a combination. Though he can take one of the two down by himself, this feat cannot be done when there are two enemies instead. As it stands, when there are two of them, their strength also multiplies exponentially. Not just twofold but, probably even threefold. That is why Zeke had a hard time taking them down. He overestimated himself and his own capacities and he paid a hefty price for it.That being said, all of this has now passed. Zeke has learned his lesson the hard way. But now that he has, there is no way that he will lose anymore. Not by any long shot. Not in the slightest bit. Though this idea doesn’t run similarly in the heads of his opponents. With the performance that he displayed earlier, he’s sure that they are already looking down on him a little. They are now thinking that Zeke is a lot weaker than they initially thought of him to be. Tho
The fight began and broke out with Zeke making the first move. The hero of Forge didn’t waste any time and closed the gap between him and his two opponents. Using up his [Lethal Tempo] in order to do so as quickly as possible. But, it seems that this effort is wasted because, right as soon as he finished making his move and, right before he can even attack, Aries is already poised to strike him.Normally, this would make anyone shocked. It would be easy to see someone unable to react to something like this. But this rule doesn’t apply to Zeke because, unlike a normal human, Zeke knows what he’s doing. And part of this knowledge is that the enemies that he currently has are going to be able to react to him…just as he expected.“Perfect.”As soon as Zeke said this word, black smoke spread across the whole battlefield. With this came an arrow that is fired and has also hit his shoulder. Piercing right through it and digging its way through his flesh. The pain is enough to stop Zeke from
“My queen.”“Ah. Sylph, just the elf that I wanted to see.” The queen of the elves sat on her high throne. The distance between her and the elf she’s talking to is far enough for her to snipe Sylph. It’s far enough for her to kill Sylph without taking any damage. Though there is no need to do something like that because, there is no reason to. Sylph is her most trusted ally after all. And, more than that, Sylph is her secret lover. One who has been secretively making love with the hero of their kingdom behind her back.“We’ve just finished the other part of the hero’s training.” Sylph bowed down. A sign of both respect and formality.Even the queen’s lover needs to show this much reverence if there are guard elves that are watching nearby. They need to be formal. Not their usual way of speaking but, one that doesn’t bother them nevertheless.“So it would seem.” The queen responded in an indifferent tone. “She’s killed plenty of our human slaves. We don’t have enough now to go around.
Zeke’s training continued on for quite some time. We are now using the term training because that is precisely what happened shortly after the fight resumed. The hero had the upper hand slightly taken when he was able to launch the ten smokes that scattered across the battlefield. This negated the spell that Caster just used to wipe away the smoke and, even increased it to the point of zero visibility.Zeke also launched a couple more tricks that he still has up his sleeve. He didn’t just stop with this and continued on to as many as he could do. Forcing situations to happen as he tried his best to maintain his advantage against his enemies. But none of that mattered. Five minutes passed without him getting any solid victory and, as this happened, the final dark elf entered the scene. And with the three dark elves working together, it didn’t even take a whole minute for Zeke to be absolutely destroyed. Over and over again, the fights restarted. There are a total of three repetitions
The following day, before the sun could rise over the horizon, Sylvia found herself going to the front of the castle. There she is met by the flames brought about by the three dark elves who are working to escort the hero of the forge. All three of them wearing black robes that are made from materials only the dark elves know of. Making them almost invisible in the dead of night for those who do not know how to get through the illusion of these cloaks.“Alright, it seems that everyone is here.” Sylvia began as an introduction. However, her statement is far from being true. Not everyone is there. In fact, the vital part of this mission, the one who is the very essence of it, is still missing. That’s right. Zeke is nowhere to be seen, making one of the three elves raise her hand to ask a question.“Lady Sylvia, where is Lord Zeke?” Aries began. “He doesn’t seem to be with you.”“Our dear hero said he needed to drop by the forge one more time. It seems that the three of you gave him an i
When Zeke arrived into the scene, he brought with him a stillness. This isn’t the same kind of impact that he created when he stepped into the fight of the three dark elves in the arena. No. This is different. Far different. After all, he isn’t making any sort of special effect to this entrance of his. Zeke merely walked towards the center. Right at the side of where Sylvia is and, as soon as his presence is made known, the female dark elf also began to step aside. Moving to the side and giving the center to the hero of the Forge.“Everyone seems to be here already.” Zeke began as he looked around. There isn’t much for his eyes to gaze at. Only the three dark elves and their respective horses. That which they will ride on their way to the elven kingdom. These horses have armor placed over them. Not heavy ones that would burden the beasts but, rather, enchanted ones. Allowing the horses to run faster and be able to last longer on the journey. Not only this but the armor actually does
Zeke’s group continued their journey until they reached a point where the sun is already peeking through the horizon. There is no stop nor rest within the interval between this. Just pure movement which is guided by Aries who leads their way. The dark elf who holds their map and, is also the one who is telling them which path is safe and which isn’t.The efficiency of this same dark elf cannot be looked down on as well. Compared to the hero of the Forge who needs to look at his minimap from time to time, Aries has the entirety of it memorized at the back of her head. Not in the simple way but in the most detailed version possible. As a citizen of the Forge, Aries has dedicated a portion of her life into understanding the terrain and, all the things that come with them as well. This means that Zeke won’t have trouble figuring out which parts are dangerous because, Aries already has this covered for him.The best part about this is that, Aries can do this even in the dark. That’s right.
