Alves couldn't remain standing where he was. There was no use for it. He couldn't find any other reason to keep standing there. He walked away, out of the pavilion, towards the exit, which was up ahead. "His Eminence."The Prime Minister was on his feet already. He started to walk-run to catch up with Alves. Not for once did Alves care about who was behind him. He did know that if the Prime Minister kept following him in such a fashion, he would attract some attention, which to some extent is unnecessary yet relative. But at this point in time, he didn't care about any other thing. The only thing that kept him occupied was the thought,THE OLD MAN IS LEAVING FOR THE KINGDOM? WHY DIDN'T HE TELL ME ABOUT IT? WHY DIDN'T HE?Alves was on the verge of getting really pissed off, yet he seemed to be making all the effort not to appear that way. Else, he would create such an unnecessary atmosphere for himself. Walking into the opening of the exit, he took the left turn. There were a lot o
There was a prolonged silence as the power bike revved through the express road. Even if they had wished to exchange words or trade a conversation, it would have been quite difficult to attain because of the rage of the wind blowing past as the accelerated bike zoomed through the odds. They would have to lose so many details of the information meant to be digested. On the other hand, Alves didn't really have much to worry about. All he had occupying his mind was getting to the Huthi Farmland as soon as possible. At that point in time, a certain idea dropped in his mind. And it kinda pulled a string in his head to think that he didn't end up doing that; The idea of zooming through the space to the Huthi Farmland like he did in the kingdom. But even though he could achieve such ability, he wouldn't have been able to do that while the Prime Minister was watching. Or say, perhaps the Prime Minister wouldn't be surprised since he was also one of the people from the parallel world. He re
The lad would look back every now and then. He was leading the way into the open garden. Yet he looked like he didn't believe what was happening. As though he needed to be woken up or something close to that. Alves was right behind him, taking gentle steps. The lad obviously couldn't believe that Alves really meant what he had said in the Huthi Farmland. The eyes of the lad strayed from Alves to the power bike, which was by a big tree, which was at the opening of the renowned garden. Then his attention fell back on Alves. Then suddenly, as though he couldn't keep quiet anymore, as though he couldn't take it anymore. The lad stopped walking. He waited for Alves to catch up with him. Alves wasn't surprised. He didn't stop too until he got to the lad. "His Eminence. I was stupid to raise my voice at you and act so illogically. But you don't have to do this. I am not worthy of your service. How dare I order you around or make you do something for me? Please, I don't want to disrespec
The big guy halted just two steps away from Alves and the lad. While the other two guys were standing behind the big guy. They were careful with their choices of actions and didn't hide it. "Where did you think you were going?"The big guy asked, staring coldly at Alves. His gaze couldn't get to the lad because the lad was now hiding behind Alves. Alves didn't quite have a problem with that. He understood that it was only right for the lad to be scared. Scared of the big guy. "You didn't think you would do all of that and would walk away just like that."The big guy pushed further. "Now, while I am being nice. Push your little brother forward and let my cousins beat the living hell out of him."The big guy took a quick pause. "This is how we will do it. While my cousins beat some sense into your little brother, you could choose whether to stand aloof and watch. Or get involved and have to go through me first."The big guy finally seemed to have come to a stop. Alves kept his eyes
The lad couldn't raise his head. It felt like he was under a sort of spell. As though his neck would snap if he attempted to put up his head. They were back in the hotel room where Alves was treated. But it felt like a strange place at that moment. The lad kept the stare at the cold floor. He didn't even bat an eye. There seemed to be a lot going through his mind. It felt like his head would explode from the multitude of thoughts building up at the depth of his consciousness. And he was making efforts to sort as many as possible out. "Leave me be."Alves called out of nowhere. The lad who acted as though he was disinterested all along picked his head as though he had been waiting to do that all his life. His eyes were super active, and his face fell. Alves took a glance at the lad, then looked away at once. The lad who had been addressed, though made meaning of it, yet was reluctant to act on it. Perhaps because of the urgency of the order or because he never could have imagined
For a few seconds, Alves was quite surprised that Villian was here. He had a couple of reasons, but he didn't make it evident in his facial reaction. "Boss, where have you been? You shouldn't do this to me. You know how much I love and miss you."Alves was trying to recall what happened the last time he met with Villain. He was trying to reach the distant thought but he couldn't quite reach it. And it was quite annoying that with all he did and how he strained to get the knowledge and reach at the memory, he just couldn't help himself. He heaved a sigh. He didn't want to hold unto something which had proven to be useless. Alves took a quick glance at Villian as soon as Villian lifted his body. When his eyes met Villain, he turned and walked back into the hotel room. "Should I come in?"Villian called at Alvss, who had gotten to a section of couches in the hotel room. The room was archetype to a sort of hall which comprised of a dining place, sitting room, bedroom, a bar, and more
Villian kept approaching Alves. Alves had no idea what to do. Not yet. There were a couple of things flying around in his head, and he didn't know which of the multitude to grasp. Now that he knew that Villian was a threat, not to him but to the people of the world. He wouldn't let that get to him. He wouldn't allow himself to be swept off his feet every time by surprise. Alves was expecting what would happen in the nearest second. Villian was getting closer and closer and closer till he finally got to where Alvess was seated. Naturally, by the call of his instinct, Alves could have jumped up on his feet. He could have taken a stance for a fight, but he didn't do any of the above. For a sheer moment, he was forced to think that his Ri was the one responsible for that awkward moment. To think of it, it made sense if his Ri was acting that way and was responsible for the odds. He might be doing it as a payback to Alves. Alves didn't care. There was no point crying over spilt milk. V
"Say the words now!!!"Alves roared at Villian. Alves didn't look like he would take back his actions. With the manner at which he was ready to approach what comes after these actions, it didn't seem as though he regretted any of the actions. Instead, it was as though he would do even worse than that if at the end of the day, he didn't get to have his way. He was approaching Villian again. Villian was trying to roll to his side. He was in pain and couldn't hide it. He seemed to have broken some few bones of the ribs. Villian tried to sit up but fell on his back again. Alves got to him, towering over him. He looked down at Villian, who didn't want to look him in the eyes. It was hard to tell what was going through Villian's mind. But, the sudden change of Alves obviously caught the fellow off guard. Villian could never have imagined something like that. Even Alves didn't know that he would let all lose at that particular time. It was as though the actions had another wheel steering
