Chapter 1375 Triage of Concubines

Maggie is confused about what Bernardo wants concerning Shirley getting involved in his grandson's life.

She goes to the visitors' seat, “Honey, are you sure about this?”

“You keep telling me that your mother will turn our son against you.” Bernardo asserts, “I will never allow it if she really tries.”

“That's true. I don't want my mom telling my son he was fathered by another guy.”

“See how dangerous this mental poison is for our baby? I want to live in peace and raise a healthy child.”

“Bernie, you better talk to her.” Maggie asks in a cute tone, “If I was the bearer of the news, she would be able to kick my belly to force a miscarriage.”

Bernardo nods slowly, “I get it, honey. Let me take care of the beast.”

Maggie smiles. She stands up and changes the subject, “What about Jack's visit yesterday?”

Bernardo also smiles, “He showed me the draft of the next book.”

“Oh, I thought he was going to take advantage of being on LCN to be the heartthrob in the next soap opera.” Maggie jokes.
