On Tuesday morning, Beto is having breakfast in the kitchen. To remember the time when Josias lived with him, Teodoro happily prepares a delicious breakfast.

Beto is already chewing bread with scrambled eggs when Teodoro puts another frying pan with fresh, tempting-smelling bacon on the table. "Okay, Dad, I don't need anything else."

Teodoro does not seem to have heard, as he puts on the table guava jam and buns. Then the landlord pulls out his chair and sits down. "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."

"You still treat me like I'm eight." Beto is not complaining; he is talking with a wistful smile.

Teodoro cuts a bun, fills it with guava jam, and hands it to his son without knowing if he wanted it or not. "So, can I already buy a camera to photograph the busted?"

Beto starts to laugh. "I don't know. How are we going with Vera?"

"Vera is not coming very often." Teodoro explains, "She said that Pamela's mother was at the apartment
