SOLDIER FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS Allen kept pinning the man down with all of his requests. The victim came with a small rope and helped Allen tie the man’s hand. Allen stood up from the man who was tied down, now leading to his release. As Allen looked around, he saw that people had gathered around and were looking at them with eagerness. “Thank you very much, sir, for helping me. I am very grateful for your help.” The victim thanked Allen. “Please call the police to help you take him away,” Allen said, dropping the knife on the ground. He walked away. As he walked away, Allen realised that something was wrong with him at that moment. He looked around him, wondering what was wrong with him, as he walked to his house. As soon as he entered his house, he realised what was wrong with him. He had confronted all the men with some unknown force and no fear and defeated two men with knives, which was very unlikely of him to stand up for himself or for someone. Above it all, He was walkin
THE WORKPLACE Allen had been through life long enough to understand that people hated progress and freedom and he was going to do anything to protect what he had gotten now. Glancing at the old world clock on his wall, Allen realised that he had over one hour left to get to the workplace, and the journey to the workplace was about thirty minutes. He began tidying up the place before he left. Allen lived in a small, old, wretched house on the outskirts of the city. The house belonged to his parents, and that was where he had grown up with them until his mother was taken to the rehabilitation centre and his father was jailed. Since then, Allen has continued to stay in this house without any hope of moving out or relocating to anywhere else. Living in a house alone, he had no money to maintain the house or do renovations, so the house looked like there was no one there. Almost half of the building had already collapsed and Allen had used old bricks and Woods to patch them up. He
ROLAND ATWOOD Roland, a middle-aged man in his late forties, was a street food seller at the local subway. He set up his business every evening to sell to the people who came for their different businesses at the subway and also to those who came to take the evening trains to their various destinations. He was also homeless and spent his whole night on the subway while he sold his food all night. In the mornings, he went over to the place where he bought the ingredients he would use for the evening. Although Roland was also homeless, he had a small shelter somewhere in the town where he always rested. Through selling the food by the roadside, he had been able to make something of himself, but he always acted very poorly. Allen knew that very well, and whenever he asked Roland why he behaved that way, Roland always replied with. “ It is better to be regarded as a poor man than to be seen as a rich man”. Although Allen never understood anything in that sentence, he always nodded
SYSTEM PUNISHMENT. It was very risky for him for people to know what he had acquired now and that was his thoughts. Allen stood there calmly and waited and eventually the train arrived at the station. Immediately the doors of the train opened Allen saw a heavily built man manhandling a young lady, shouting at her and occasionally beating her. Everybody looked on in sadness and nobody dared interfered The heavily built man seemed very rich and no one dared to talk back at him or interfere in what was going on knowing for sure that they were going to get themselves in trouble. The city was a lion's den for the poor people and a playground for the rich people. Allen looked on sadly as the man Continued manhandling the lady in the subway. SYSTEM: Rescue the victim and Humiliate the bully now or punishment follows immediately. Allen heard this. He did not know whether or not to obey the system and get his money or to ignore the system and receive punishment from it. If he obeyed
LIE TO THE MASTERRoland fell for the trick and heaved a sigh of relief.“ You should have said something. Are you okay now?” Roland asked Allen with a smile.Allen nodded in the affirmative.“ Okay, you can finish up your food and rest for now. Let me go and attend to the customers.” Roland said and stood up as he left to continue his work.Allen sat down quietly as he munched the food slowly. He was deep in thoughts about what had just happened It was obvious that he could not keep this secret for a long time.If he obeyed the system and worked with it, he was going to reveal his secret, and if he did not, he was definitely going to be punished and always would create a scene for himself.Allen thought of the best way to take care of this without being known. He could not even wish for the system to go away from him, knowing that the system could make him rich and strong enough to be able to face his enemies.Allen knew that at the Subway station, almost every day, there was one kin
TRUTH OF THE MATTERAllen walked behind Roland as they headed towards his house. He was happy that he was once again going to learn from his master.Allen remembered the movie he had watched the previous day.He remembered the suit the hero was wearing, and he thought about how he was going to get his own.The only challenge he had was that he had to be able to quickly change himself into his costume without being found when the system activates every day.Another part of Allen told him to inform Roland about this and see if Roland could help him, but he knew that it was very risky for him to do so, and it was not a wedding to share his new found Susan with anybody else. Maybe not now.Allen and Roland got to Roland's house. The house was on the outskirts of the town and was not very big. The outside of the house was very wretched and looked like a poor man's house. However, the inside of the house talked differently about it.It was a two-bedroom apartment ensuite. But Roland was sta
