* CHAPTER SIXTY

CAVES OF EFLIE

ELVIO'S POV

It's noon, Dalmatius is sitting on a rock near the waterfall, Domminick is coming out of his cave and I'm sitting under the tree nibbling on an apple.

Our attention is drawn to the same direction as we see a girl approaching the caves. Domminick halts, baffled, and I quickly stand to my feet.

She's putting on a blue dress, and she's bare footed.

“You must be Domminick, and you... Elvio,” she says to us and our brows furrows as we both turn to look at ourselves quickly. We look to her again, baffled.

“Who are you, and how do you know our names?” I ask her, and even before she replies, we hear another footstep approaching the caves —causing a distraction, and we both look to see who it is.

“Domminick, pluck out my eyes that they may not deceive me,” I mutter in shock of who I see approaching the caves.

Dalmatius walks into the midst of the cave from the waterfall and he freezes.
