Chapter one hundred

It was exactly 10:30 pm, Charles cleaned his mouth with a handkerchief, he stood up from the chair, clutched the empty bowl and sauntered towards the entryway.

When Charles got to the entryway, he used one hand to clutch the bowl and he used the other hand to pull the door. He exited the dining room and walked towards the kitchen. When Charles got to the kitchen, he placed the empty bowl on the table and walked out of the kitchen.

When Charles got to the sitting room, he walked towards the refrigerator and opened it. He took out a bottle of chilled water and a mug and closed the refrigerator back.

“It’s high time we went to bed,” Charles said as he walked towards the couches. “Just give us some minutes, dad,” Luca said with a glare.
