“I don’t understand why you’ve refused to go to Evelyn’s house so that they can keep you company,” professor MacPherson said. “It’s better I stay here and die of boredom,” Ayla said and gazed at a picture hanging on the wall.

“Well, if you insist. I will make sure I come home on time so that I can keep you company,” professor MacPherson said. “Alright, dad,” Ayla said.

“Ensure you tidy up the clutter,” professor MacPherson said. “Alright, dad; I will,” Ayla said.

“I am off to my workplace now,” professor MacPherson said and stood up from the couch. “Have a nice day, dad,” Ayla said. “Have a nice day too, Ayla,” professor MacPherson said. He walked towards the table, clutched his briefcase and walked towards the entryway.
