Willy parked his car under a tree, he clutched a brown polythene bag and alighted from the vehicle. He walked towards the entryway and knocked on the door twice. Magdalene, who had been resting on one of the couches, heard the knock coming from the door; she stood up from the couch and walked towards the entryway.

“Welcome, lover boy,” Magdalene said as soon as she opened the door. “Thank you, Magdalene,” Willy said with a smile. He closed the door and held Magdalene’s right hand.

“I guess you had a nice time at the plaza?” Magdalene said as the twosome sauntered towards the couches. “Yes, I did; but the stagflation is nothing to write home about,” Willy said.

“We will surely come over it,” Magdalene said. Willy supported Magdalene to sit down and they both sat down on a couch. “I am shocked you came back from antenatal care on time today,” Willy said and gazed at Magdalene’s face.
