It was a bright morning. Charlotte was the first to wake up from her sleep. “Thank you Jesus for a brand new day,” Charlotte muttered. She gazed at professor MacPherson who was slugging on the bed.

“It’s just 6:01 am,” Charlotte muttered. She wore her pair of slippers and sauntered towards the entryway.

“I don’t even see my toothbrush again,” Charlotte muttered when she got to the bathroom. She left the bathroom for the kitchen.

“What can I cook? The professor needs to eat something before leaving this house,” Charlotte muttered, and gazed at the foodstuffs inside the kitchen.

“I think spaghetti would do it. Come to think of it, the foodstuffs are just the same way I left them; I don’t think Ayla cooked when I was away,” Charlotte muttered.

Charlotte kindled the fire and placed a pot on the stove. She poured water inside the pot and heard some footsteps.
