Two days later.

Thomas walked into Ron and the team's office.

"Mr. Ron, regarding Dr. Katrin Danes, the court has agreed to transfer the case to the prosecutor's office for further investigation. Why are you still holding her here?"

Ron, sitting behind his desk, looked up. He had just been busy with a pile of administrative work that had accumulated on his desk.

"Sam said there's still more to investigate, we've asked for an extension until next week, she'll be safe in her cell, you don't need to worry."

Thomas took a deep breath.

"It's not that, the prosecution might find more clues about the case. This situation has already gone public, so we need to start thinking about how to avoid it if we can. If the Prime Minister hears about Dakota's involvement in all this, everything will get even messier."

Ron placed his pen on top of his stack of papers.

"I think he might already know by now."
