Trapped
The rain had stopped.

They arrived at the location a few kilometers from the city limits.

"Wee woo!"

Several vehicles with their sirens still blaring had already filled the area. The road leading out of town was quite empty, allowing for the road closure to still be managed. The morning light hadn't fully broken over the hills yet, and dew still clung to the edges of the leaves before slowly falling to the ground.

Sam and Rina had just parked their vehicle and quickly got out. Luckily, Rina had brought a jacket and long pants to cover up her dress, which was definitely uncomfortable in the chilly air. Emma and the team had arrived earlier; those coroner members were really diligent, working non-stop. Even though they were just as far away, Emma's house was closer, so she got there first and waited for the rest of the team to gather.

The crime scene was near the edge of the bridge.
