It Was Dark

“Stop!”

Chiiitt!

A loud buzzing sound was ringing inside Dakota's ear.

The sun shone brightly through the glass windows on the VVIP floor of Pinewoods hospital. Slowly, Dakota opened his, beautiful blue eyes exposed to a little sunlight. He raised his hand to block the light which, although not very bright, hurt his eyes. His head was dizzy, and his chest hurt, in fact, his whole body hurt as if he had been hit by a heavy object pressing on top of him. There was a needle and a long IV poked into his left arm. Several monitoring cables were attached to his body from his chest to below his waist. Did he go back to the hospital?

Dakota turned his eyes, hearing someone sitting near him get up from his seat.

“Hey Dax, you're awake, how are you feeling?”

Robert Aucwin was already there, smiling at the top of his head.

“Rob, you're here, what happened?”

Robert smiled. He sat on the edge of the bed.
