After returning from the hospital, Sylvie was resting in her bed. She still bear the scars of the accident, but the thing that hurts her the most is the end of her relationship with Matteo. She was unaware of the curse and had no idea that she would be separated from him one day. The door to the room unexpectedly opened, and her mum and dad entered with a tray of meals. She was enraged by them, so she averted her gaze. Her mom sat next to her with the tray on the side table.
"Please don't get furious at us. We're simply doing this for your benefit," Her mom stroked her face and tugged at the strands of her hair behind her ear. Sylvie averted her gaze from her once more, and this time her father took a seat beside her.
"Have you ever felt as if we don't love you or have failed as parents since you were a child?" He interrogated her. She was ashamed of herself for being angry at her own parents, who have been there for her since she first breathed in the world.
"No way, Dad. As parents, you've never let anyone down. But please give Matteo a chance. We both love each other," She said it, expressing her deep affection for both her parents and Matteo. Her dad got out of his seat and walked up to the door. He moaned deeply, "I don't want to lose my daughter."
Her mom assisted in the consumption of the meals and medications as he walked out the door. She urgently needed to shift her mood, so she begged her mom to return her phone to her. Her phone was handled to her mom by a nurse in the hospital.
"I'm returning this phone to you, but don't call him," her mom said, frowning. She responded with a hum and took the phone from her mom.
She got into her phone's vault after her mother had left the room and looked through her photographs with Matteo. They make out while studying together, on their first date night, and at the prom.(Flashback)
"Do you really want to study?" Matteo inquired of his incredibly attractive girlfriend, who sat in a chair with her hands on the table. He was seated on the edge of his bed.
"Well, yeah," she said, smiling innocently. "In a sealed, soundproof, huge room with a comfortable bed and warm blankets, what else can you do?" Sylvie, who was pretending indifferent, replied. Her hair was behind her ear, and she was nibbling the edge of her pen, her method of thinking.
"Nothing, I suppose," Matteo said, keeping his temper.
"You see!"
She locked her gaze on him for a moment before returning to her reading.
Then Matteo asked a question that was completely unrelated to the issue.
"Hey, babe.""Aha," she exclaimed as she raised her head to face him.
"Why do you like me?" he enquired, his brows furrowed."Well, let's see, I may have to carefully consider that."
"Are you kidding?" Matteo, the dumbfounder, exclaimed."Is it because you're really hot, yeah Is it because you're incredibly kind, maybe," she said, changing her attitude and pulling her hair into a ponytail with both hands.
"You see, Matteo, I'm not going to play with you in this game." She mumbled something, then turned away.
He acted as if he didn't know what game he was talking about when he said, "What game?"
"Right again, the one you're attempting to play."
"Which one?" He enquired.
"Don't even try reverse psychology on me," Sylvie warned.
"Seriously, babe, what game are you playing?"
"Oh my gosh, you just did that to me with this game where you pretend you don't know that I find you seriously attractive, sweet, funny, kind, humorous, and kind and just so you and not like those other guys at school," she says.
"How are those other guys?" he asks, oblivious to the situation.
"They are ignorant, foolish, insensitive, cruel, and all the other awful terms, and all they want from a girl is to get into her trousers."
"What makes you think I'm not interested in what those other guys are interested in?" he muttered, his gaze fixed on her.
That was a little awkward.
"Wait," she said as she bit on her pen and rested her palm on her jaw, her gaze fixed on him. "..... Do you want to have a sexual relationship with me?"
"No, no, no," He said.
"So you're not interested?" She stated it once more.
He answered, "No, I mean, of course I want it." "Perhaps not now, but later..." She was now employing reverse psychology against him.
"Oh, so you've been wanting that all along," she said as she rose up.
"I don't mean it that way, babe; I'm only speculating... I'm not after your underwear, either. That's something I don't want at all," he stated.
She takes a seat at the desk, crossing one knee over the other and folding her arms."Why aren't you interested in having sex with me? Oh, you're cheating on me, Matteo, because you're getting it right somewhere. Is it possible that you're cheating on me?"
"What? I'd never do something like that "He stood firm in his defence.
She demanded, "Then do it." Her arms were folded even tighter.
"Do what?" he asked, looking at her, serious and ignorant for reals.
"Your clothes..." she said as she laid down her pen and ruffled her hair behind her ear.
With a twisted smile on her face, she continued, "Take them off, I want to inspect you."
"How are you going to do it?" He was curious.
"Simple, I'll look for hickeys and scratch marks," she explained.
"Babe, not all girls bite, and how would you know I didn't scratch myself?" He stated his case. That's a good point.
"No matter how long your arms are, there are some regions of your body that you just can't scratch," she explained.
"How do you know that, I thought you stated you were a virgin?" he wondered. "Unless...
"Did you deceive me?" He laughed devilishly and said, "Take your things off, I want to examine you."
"Don't put words in my mouth," Sylvie murmured as she sat back down and resumed reading and writing.
Matteo burst out laughing, realising that he had turned the tables on her. His laugh was irritating, but Sylvie couldn't help herself and laughed as well. Then, after a minute...
"Hey Matteo, I got it,"she said, slowly.
"Did you get what?" he inquired.
"I was just thinking about what else you could do in a soundproofed, big room with a comfy bed and nice blankets."
"Which is it?" he said, surprised that she hadn't figured it out sooner. She got up and walked over to him, standing between his legs as he sat in his bed. She then leaned in close to his ear and whispered a few words. And then I got back up.
"I know you're brilliant, darling, but I can't believe it took you 30 minutes to figure it out."
"And, come to think of it, we have the right conditions in here," she said as she sat next to him. "Aren't I a hottie? I'll just do it," she stated.
She took off her top. He'd never seen her half-naked before, and their relationship had always been in a friendship zone until now. He was taken aback and hypnotised. She sat on his lap, then removed his shirt and pushed him down onto his bee, and they began slowly kissing, with her reaching for his neck, then kissing his lips as if she had never kissed them before, before moving her hands to the lower portion of his body.
He decided to question before it got too far since he thought it was too wonderful to be true.
"Wait......Are you sure?"
She deflected the topic by kissing him lightly again.
"Wait a minute, Babe, are you sure about this?"
"You don't want it, do you? Should I come to a halt?"
"Of course, I want this strongly," he said, "but I just want to be sure you want it as passionately as I do."
"Do I ever start something I can't finish?"
"No..."
"Then stop talking and kiss me..." Sylvie's phone rang, and she tried to ignore it, but it kept buzzing and vibrating, so she examined it and saw that it was a call from her mother, so she picked it up.
Damn, she climbed off of him and said, "Mom.....hie." Her mother has impeccable timing.
"Do you know what time it is, Sylvie?" Her mother began to chastise her.
"I know it's nine o'clock, Mom, but I just got carried away, so I won't be home tonight."
"Wait, what?" she inquired.
"This assignment is too much for me, and I'm not through yet; I'll probably finish later tonight around one o'clock, so I'll simply sleep over here at Suzane's house tonight.""A sleepover on a college night?" Her mother told her over the phone.
"Hey mom, it's Sunday, and I know I have College tomorrow, but I still have to study," she lied."I'll just sleep over and see you tomorrow morning, I promise."
"Okay, then, hand the phone over to Suzanne for a second," her mother ordered, shooting."Uh... Do you want to speak with Suzane? She went to the bathroom right now and was complaining about an upset stomach; she'll be in there for a long time, but she left with her phone, so you can call her "..
She said, "I'll see you guys tomorrow."
"OK mom, I've got to get back to the books," she said. "Bye mom, I love you," she added.
"OK, I love you too, and you're not studying too hard, are you?"
"OK, mum," she said as she hung up the phone. She exhaled deeply.
Returning to Matteo, she grumbled, "I detest interrupting calls and lying, see what you had me do."
He grinned and said, "Sorry."
"Now, where were we?" says the narrator. She smiled as she climbed back on top of him, who was all giddy.
"You were kissing me," He exclaimed.
"Do you like it?" She kissed him as she leaned forward.
"No, it was dirtier and sexier," he replied, exaggerating somewhat.
"Like this," she said, kissing him dirtier and hotter, but she could tell he hadn't quite surrendered, so she pushed her tongue deeper into his mouth and felt him give in gradually. She had an uncanny ability to persuade him to do whatever she wanted.
He grabbed the remote and turned off the lights, then drew her in even closer and stripped her of the rest of her garments before doing the obvious. It is self-evident.
Matteo couldn't help but stare at her girlfriend's face, who was still asleep. It was around 7 a.m. and he had already awoken. He had never awoken so early in his entire life.
"God, she's so lovely, I'm about to puke." Sylvie slowly awoke as he shifted her to the side to stare at her face even more. One by one, she opened her eyes.
"Hey, lovely..." He spoke swiftly.
Then she became aware of the stare.
"What's the deal with the stare?"
"It says I'm curious."
"Don't be surprised." She cut him off in the middle of whatever he was about to say. She then closed her eyes.
"Hey, do you think you're shy because of last night?"
"What? Me? Shy? That is absurd."
"If you are, I just want to say don't be," he continued, "because I have already seen everything and, thanks for last night's experience, I had a great time, it was the best moment of my life, and I'm really hoping we could do it again another time."
"Shut up."
"What can I say, I'm a romantic."
"Now take a sip of the coffee that I've given you," He expressed himself.
"You know I'm not a coffee drinker, Matteo," she grumbled.
This isn't exactly coffee; it's hot cocoa, but I felt compelled to include it. It's one of your favourites."
"Thank you so much ," she said, standing up. "It's probably too sweet for me now, but I'll drink it anyway, for you," she said.
"I also made you breakfast," he said.
"There's no need to appear strange, babe. It was just sex, oh my God is that backon, this is so sweet, it's like a hangover care package, but for sex, a sexover care package, but I can't eat it yet; I need to brush my teeth, drink a glass of water, stretch, and busk in the sun first ", she explained.
"I'm being lovely for the first and last time; now get up!" He stated his case.
"Is this how you usually get rid of girls once your wants have been satisfied?"
"What do you mean usual? This is also my first time, and I've never done anything like this before. Also, please tie your hair because it's all over the place."
"I'm just too tired."
"OK, I'll do it for you," he responded as they got closer, and she grabbed her hair tie and held it in place. "Hello, you've got a high fever, how are you doing? What is the cause of your high fever?"
"Are you on your period again, Sylvie?" he asked.
"I don't believe so...why?" she spoke in a drowsy tone.
"Did I then do this to you?" He took a seat and added, "Oh my god, please accept my heartfelt apologies." He stated his case.
"I'm so sorry about your blankets," she mumbled.
"Are you OK, Sylvie?" he inquired once again.
"Yes, I'm fine."
"It was all my fault; I guess my speed was too high, and as a result, I wounded you."
I promise I'll be slower next time, and now you have a high fever again because of me."
"Hey, this isn't your fault, OK," she said as he opened his blankets and saw what he did.
"Oh my god."
"What should I do?"
"You go ahead and change in the closet because I'm coming."
She went into his closet and changed back into her dress.
SYLVIEPOV(Flashback of the date night)When I inquire about the time, he simply answers, "I'll pick you up, it'll keep you wondering."He didn't show up for hours, and ultimately the entire day was gone.Is it possible he forgot? Is it possible that this was a joke?He appears out of nowhere, smiling, and asks, "Ya ready?""I've been ready since 2 p.m.," she says."How are we going to get there?""Like I said, it's best to keep you on your toes," he replied with a smile. With a mischievous smile, he says.Matteo nervously rubs his sweaty palms on his black jeans as he walks up to my front door, saying, "You simply roll your eyes and get in the car." I was now inside the house, pacing in the living room. I didn't know what to wear on a casual date where she wouldn't be able to wear heels. So I chose white trousers, a white tank top, a maroon scarf, cap, and combat boots as her outfit. She curled her hair and applied her makeup as usual. But, despite the fact that they were both going
Matteo POVI took the book to the Professor Beth's house, with overwhelmed happiness. As I wiped the blood to the corner of my lips. “Professor Beth" I yelled, standing at the downstairs. He came to the balcony and was about to turn when I called him again. “Professor Beth, just glance at this book," I said, raised my hand and show him the book. He furrowed his eyebrows, and walked to me with curiosity. I handed him the book, which no one had ever brought from the same library where Gemma did suicide, which was the impossible thing what I did. "How did you get it," he said, ran to the table and flicked the pages aggressively.I flipped through the pages until I came to the chapter "Your Turn." His eyes widened in surprise as he saw Gemma's dangling body image. With a bang, he slammed the book shut. With quick breaths, his chest lifted and fell. The bottle of water on the table was passed to me. I proved to him that I was compatible, as evidenced by his expression. He returned his eyes
Third Person POV"Sylvie, please calm down. Allow him to leave you alone," Daisy said. But all Sylvie could think about was a method to get out of the house and meet Matteo for once. She must consider quickly before it is too late. "Mom, I need some fresh air and some alone time. So, I'm off to see Mia," she sat on the bed, tears in her eyes, and whispered this. Her mother tried to soothe her by handing her medicine and drink. How could she tell her mother that the external agony she was experiencing could be treated with medicine, but what about the awful pain her heart was experiencing? Her father, Peter, entered the room with a scowl on his face, which he quickly concealed as his sight fell on Sylvie."You should relax for a time," Dad sympathised.Mom informed Dad by shifting her gaze to him."She wants to meet Mia and needs her time to understand," Her mother murmured.Peter scrutinised Sylvie's expression to see if she was telling the truth or trying to flee the house to meet Mat
There was a small cave in the gloomy woods. The naked sky was coated in black foreboding clouds, with a cluster of roaring eyeballs crawling in the wide emptiness. The grassy plants were swept away by deafening blasts of wind. The witch Krystle entered the abandoned mansion. With that dreamy, awful smile, she was chanting to herself. Her hair was luscious and lank, and she sat on an antique queen-like chair. With a snap of her fingers, she summoned her two slaves. A mongoose circled Krystle's legs as a soaring eagle approached with a shrieking voice. She clapped her fingers once more, this time transforming her two pet slaves into humans."Welcome back, our queen," they said jointly, bowing their heads. She licked their faces with an ugly smile."After 36 years, I was released to kidnap a girl named Sylvie and murder her in order to complete my mission. After that, I'll be free for all time, and I'll conquer the globe with my witchcraft," she laughed out loud. And she smiled as she ex
"We should hurry to Mia's place because Reed and Professor are probably looking for us," Matteo worriedly stated. As they turned around to head towards Mia's house, Sylvie intertwined her fingers with Matteo's. Sylvie gripped Matteo's arm and halted her steps when Scorp stepped in front of them."Matteo, I'm terrified.""Simply stay with me. I'm not going to let anything happen to you," Matteo gave her reassurance. He then took her hand in his and began racing towards the trees. He swooped down on them, kicking Matteo away from Sylvie. She ran as fast as she could, but he caught her by the hair and lifted her into the air. Matteo grabbed Sylvie's leg and dragged her to the ground. She was in excruciating pain as Scorp yanked her hair and Matteo pulled her legs. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she prayed to God for assistance. Professor Beth appeared at the precise moment and muttered some magic, forming a magical circle around Scorp, which transformed his body into ashes. Sylvie the
Professor Beth, Reed, Matteo, and Sylvie sat in the study room, where a ring was placed on the table. Professor resumed the ritual that had been abandoned in the meantime."The basic law of war is to never underestimate your enemy. And in our situation, we couldn't accomplish it on our own," Professor confronted them. Sylvie was forced to sit in Matteo's lap, and he stroked her arm. Sylvie had never heard anything like this before. Professor chanted a spell while wrapping a white thread around the ring."It will help her in protecting herself from the witch," Professor explained. The ring floated in the air after rubbing it inside his palm. It quickly became an impenetrable barrier surrounding Sylvie's body."Thank you," Sylvie answered. She took a step away from Matteo's lap and began to clear a slew of question bubbles."Who were those men in yesterday's party?" She enquired. Matteo and Reed cocked their heads, their brows furrowed in wonder. They only saw one individual in the jung
The journey to find the witch's dead body and to end the curse. They fly to Athens from the first flight. While travelling in the car, cold breeze slapped on their faces and in the way of peaceful nature. "We are heading to the the Athens village but for a while we have to spend our night in this villa" Professor stated. As they were passing Sylvie saw an old villa in their way. Reed also saw the same villa, but it was not old or broken but it was all modernized and cleaned. Suddenly, their car got puncture in the mid way, as it was a forest area. They could not get any help from someone. "I have saw a modernized villa few meters away," Reed said. But Sylvie frowned as she saw a broken and old villa which she didn't liked it."No, it was in very bad situation," Sylvie frowned. Professor Beth and Matteo looked around for any help, then they waited for few minutes to get a lift. As it was getting darker, so they decided to go to the villa which Reed has saw earlier. "We have to spent

Third Person POV "Have this coffee, Matteo," Reed said, handing Matteo a cup of coffee. He was sitting by Sylvie's side, clutching her hand. Matteo's gaze switched from Sylvie to Reed, and he snatched the cup from Reed's grip. The door opened as Matteo sipped his coffee, and Peter entered the room. He was also holding two mugs of coffee. "Oh! You've already had a cup of coffee, right? "Peter muttered something. With a rigid face, he motioned towards Sylvie's bed. "Excuse me, Reed had already brought something from me?" He sighed hard and after a brief pause, said, "No, it's okay." "I'm grateful for everything you're doing for me."Matteo consoled him with a grin and a hug. "We have to preserve her," Matteo reassured him, "and it's not done yet." Professor Beth burst into the room, panting, with a jerk of the door. Professor Beth was enjoying his coffee when the coffee machine began to quiver. He also heard a growling voice coming from the hospital counter, so he moved his
Third Person POVSylvie's physique was deteriorating and her hair was going grey as she approached death. Her parents were becoming increasingly concerned about their daughter's survival. While they were sitting on the corridor beach, Reed, Matteo, and Professor Beth came sprinting towards them."How is she, Peter?" Matteo inquired of Sylvie's father. As a powerless father, he stood from his chair, suppressing his frustration."What will she be like? Despite my caution, you two met and continued your relationship. Her skin is beginning to sag, and her hair is beginning to grey "With agony in his voice, he said. Matteo was disgusted with himself and pressed his eyes to the ground. If he had been in his place, he would not have known how to respond to a father. He would have loathed and cursed him then as well. They switched their sight to the window where Sylvie could be seen. Her chest rose and fell quickly, as if she was having trouble breathing. "What is going on with her?" Matteo
Third Person POVMatteo entered the dungeon's left route, which was lined with green branches and stems, and as he moved deeper into the road, he noticed a woman with long nails, protruding eyes, curled black hair, a scarlet robe, a ruby necklace around her neck, and a black stick with a skull on its head."Greetings, Matteo. My name is the Dungeon witch spirit, and I am your examiner." I'd put you to the test by posing three separate questions to you. "The first two would be riddles, and the third would be a choice between two possibilities," she stated with a smile. She tapped the skull of her stick with her index finger. He was examining her looks when she spoke up in the middle of his thoughts. "You may gaze me later, Matteo," she said, her eyes rolling in a circular motion. Though she was amusing, her features sent shivers down his spine."Should we begin?" she asked, raising her brows and focusing her pinner gaze on him. Matteo responded with a nod of his head, his gaze falling
Third-person perspectiveReed inhaled deeply and blinked open his eyes wide, remembering his last experience with the Lizard. He had to go through a lot of pain."Please, Reed, take a deep breath gently," Matteo cautioned. He found himself in a guest house room after a quick search. Reed inhaled deeply and reached across the table for a glass of water."The graveyard sweeper brought you here," Matteo grumbled. Matteo sighed deeply. When Matteo witnessed his best friend's wounds, he was devastated. Reed took a step down from the and his skin was sliced by the window glass, yet he didn't have a crease of suffering on his face."Can you tell me what you're doing?""I am really dissatisfied with myself.""But why is that? You've already done so much for us, haven't you?""I haven't done anything at all. And the rite was not completed.""No, you've completed your side projects, but I failed the ceremony, allowing the witch to flee the house. You would not have been wounded if I had not cea
Reed POV(Flashback)Beep. Beep. Beep. I woke up to the sound of my alarm, 6AM. I had an hour before Matteo came to get me for school. Matteo and I go way back. We've been friends since first grade, ever since Bobby Keegan dumped his chocolate milk over Matteo's head and then I stepped on Bobby's foot and he cried. After that Matteo thought I was the coolest kid ever. I mean what other first grader would do that right?I rolled out of my bed and turned on the shower. The warm water ran over my body and I slowly began to wake up.Mia, Sylvie, and I finished our breakfast. Sylvie and I took turns taking showers and getting ready to leave. Mia decided to stay home and work on some songs. I walked out of the bathroom and into my bedroom and shook the water out of my hair. Sylvie looked up at me and her eyes widened when she noticed I was only wrapped in a towel."Oh, s-s-sorry, do you want me to leave?" She was stuttering."No, everything is OK. I'll just grab some clothing and go to the
Reed's point of viewI was rushing to get near the river before 3 a.m., so I was driving fast. When my car came to a halt in the middle of the road, Mia stood in front of it. When she blocked my way, I was already in a hurry. "Are you insane?" "What's the point of standing in the middle of the road?" As I stepped out of the car, I muttered. "I'm sorry, but I realized I should have assisted you with this technique as well." "I don't want to lose my best friend," she conveyed her displeasure with a gloomy tone. She may have changed her mind after realizing Sylvie's worth. I couldn't afford to waste any more time, so I grabbed her hand and dragged her inside the car. I was turning the car in each lane with a strong drive, and the darkness in the forest was already pumping my adrenaline. Suddenly, a cat appeared in front of the car, rescuing it from being hit by the vehicle. My automobile was spun 180 degrees and violently collided with the tree. My skull was struck, and the agony was
Matteo's point of viewStars twinkled under the dark blue sky, owls hooted, and the chilly wind's voice added to the eerie atmosphere. Professor Beth, Reed, Mia, and I stood in the centre of a heavenly circle, which was made of white powder and candles."These are all bullshit. I'm not going to get engaged in this nonsense "Mia's face was wrinkled up. Instead of assisting us, she was screaming tantrums because she was unwilling to collaborate with us. Has she forgotten that Sylvie was once a sister to her? Because of her unwillingness to cooperate, I was on the verge of exploding with wrath."If you want to leave, please walk out," I murmured, my lips twisted in disappointment. She didn't waste any time and stomped her heels hard. This is what she refers to as friendship; having an adversary is preferable to having a friend like her. Reed kept a slight smile on his face as he rested his hand on my shoulder. I returned his smile and hugged him tightly. Reed is a great example of loyal
Matteo POVI woke up from a familiar voice as I had urge to see Sylvie once. So, I walked out of my room and sauntered towards Sylvie room. I knocked on the door, but there was no response." Sylvie, are you there?" I called her but did not get any response. Therefore, I twisted the door knob, and opened it. As I entered inside the room, it was empty. Neither Sylvie nor Mia was there inside the room. I got panicked because Sylvie had already been trapped by the witch servant once. Without thinking, I started searching the entire guest house."Sylvie, where are you?"I yelled, raked my fingers in my hairs. Reed and Professor Beth come panic striken and glanced eachother."Why are you calling Sylvie?" Reed asked me. He furrowed his eyebrows and glanced at her room. He walked inside her room and came back with tightened jaw."Where the hell they are?" "I don't know. I came to check on Sylvie but both of them are not there," I gasped. We looked each room of the guesthouse, but they were no
Sylvie POV"Please open your eyes, Sylvie," said a voice near to my ear. My head throbbed as I groaned in pain, but I gently opened my eyes and saw Matteo's face close to mine."Are you all right? Why were you screaming so loudly?" With concern, he inquired. His gaze lingered with anxiety and tenderness as he caressed my cheek."We have to get out of here as quickly as possible. In the storeroom, I noticed a clown. Matteo, he attempted to kill me," I sobbed. Matteo silenced me and encircled my neck with his arms. He ran his finger over my back in a circular motion, attempting to calm me down."Are you certain?" Mia said, her brows furrowed. How could I persuade them that it wasn't my nightmare after all? She drew nearer to Matteo and began rubbing his arm in circular patterns. Her proximity to my boyfriend bothered me."Did he say anything to you?" Professor Beth enquired, drawing my attention to himself. I attempted to recall the events and told him about everything that had happened
