Chapter 104

The staff looked at Carson and his family curiously. After assessing their appearance from top to bottom, he snorted and then burst out in a fit of laughter, which filled the room with a mocking tone.

"It's not them," he taunted with a sarcastic smile. "How could someone as poor as them rent a room for 20 million dollars? You can't even afford expensive clothes. Let alone rent a room that expensive."

Carson stood up straight, feeling his anger rising. He was sure Darwis had reserved the room for him and his family. With a firm voice, he said, "I will not lie. Check again in whose name the room was booked. You must be wrong."

The staff responded with a louder laugh and then said dismissively, "If it turns out that it was indeed you who rented the room, I'm ready to resign from this job. But if not, I want to see you kneel before me. You have to kiss my feet 10 times."
