The man demanded compensation. Alison glanced at the car before her, noticing it wasn't damaged. If there had been any impact, it would have hit Charlotte. This realization made Alison glare at the man in front of her with a cold expression, frowning. She wanted to say something, but Charlotte beat her to it.

Charlotte stared at the man with fiery eyes, remembering all the cruelty she had just witnessed. "I didn’t damage your car, Uncle! Are you blind?" Her voice rose, reflecting the bubbling anger inside her.

Alison raised her eyebrows, trying to catch her breath. She wanted to step forward but hesitated. The man, raising his hand, blinked at Charlotte. "You little brat don’t know any rules. Pay up, or I’ll call the police to arrest you. You rude little child."

Charlotte bit her lip, struggling to hold back tears as she looked at the trembling cat in her hands. "This cat is more important than your car. You almost ran it over. You should be the one compensating."
