Marlo and his family were laughing so hard. He had just gotten Brenda's property, and with this, they could become the most influential family in town. Marlo couldn't hide his happiness. The smile on his face was huge. From his gaze alone, it is evident that Marlo enjoyed what he had done. He was even proud.

There was no guilt on his face at all, even though Brenda and he were related by blood. When people are consumed by greed, they become heartless human beings. They become selfish, and all they think about is themselves, whether what they do is criminal or harmful to others. They always have an excuse in their head so they don't look guilty.
