The next morning, Carson and the others were allowed out of the room because they were going to eat breakfast. When they arrived, the dining room was quite quiet, although some participants were preparing for the next round, which they did not know yet.

The usual breakfast scene consisted of long tables, takeaways, plates, and supervisors. Carson had seen this so many times it gave him the impression of monotony. Carson sat in the corner, eating quickly, his eyes constantly scanning around to judge something. Carson always did that; he didn't want to be missed, and he was killed in this place.

While he was eating, suddenly, someone sat right beside Carson. He was a participant who had also passed the previous round. The man looked calm, with a somewhat familiar face, even though Carson felt that he had never met him before.

"It looks like we've met," the participant said casually while eating his food, his eyes still directed at Carson.
