Alison and Paula were surprised to see Nora agree with everything Carson proposed. This felt like a daydream. It was reality, but from any angle, it felt like an illusion. Nora had never been like this—so much so that Paula and Alison couldn't even imagine it. Never.

"After you return from the bidding. I guarantee that you will get the transfer of shares. I won't break my promise." Nora assured Carson.

Alison's father's share in the company was 25%, which was a huge amount. A quarter of the company belonged to Alison's father. With such a large share, he would get the right to make decisions during shareholder meetings.

Paula smiled. She was relieved after getting 25% of their shares back. This would make their lives better. Paula was very happy. She was fed up with all this poverty. Being poor was a misfortune that Paula really didn't want to feel.
