Chapter 68

Carson clenched her fists, her body shaking with anger. It never occurred to him that his only daughter, Charlotte, could be kidnapped again, and even more surprising, the culprit was Charlotte's own aunt, Vivian.

"I guess this has something to do with her," Carson thought while clenching his hands into fists, even to the point of bleeding. "Nora must be involved in all this. Vivian couldn't have acted alone. She needs Nora's approval first. That must be it."

Although Carson had no concrete evidence yet, her belief was almost irrefutable. Vivian could not have taken this action without Nora's blessing. Vivian wouldn't dare to take the initiative because she feared Nora, her grandmother.

"Daddy," Charlotte called softly, distracting Carson from the burning anger. She looked up at her father with big, hopeful eyes. "Are you a great father?"
