Chapter 70

Carson stood in the middle of Gob, who looked terrified. Meanwhile, Carson's face was filled with burning anger. He hit Gob repeatedly. Gob tried to fight back, but he couldn't. He could only be battered. His face was swollen from the blows, and his eyes were red.

Gob prostrated himself in front of Carson's feet, his body shaking with fear. "Please, forgive me!" he pleaded in a hopeful tone.

Carson looked at Gob coldly, not showing the slightest pity. With one powerful kick, Carson broke Gob's nose, the cracking sound clearly audible. Gob fell down, groaning in pain. Carson took a few steps back, shaking his head. All his hard work seemed to be in vain. His anger and despair still lingered.

Suddenly, Gob seemed to get an idea, a sardonic smile appearing on his bloody lips. "I will tell this to Mr. Ethan," he threatened in the hope of making use of his big name.
