Chapter 99

Paula was surprised by Carson's statement. She could make a big party for herself. She was pleased about that. She had already imagined how big she would be if this happened. Paula looked up at Carson.

"Carson, can you really throw me a party? I'm not sure, but if you prove it, I'll believe it," Paula said, her eyes sparkling with hope.

Carson smiled warmly. "Of course. Instead of mom going to someone else's party and being insulted, we'd better make our own party," he replied.

Paula envisioned her dream party, her mind full of details. "Oh, I've imagined many things. Maybe we can have an elegant theme, with beautiful decorations and delicious food. And, of course, I want a very fancy party."

"It's up to you. I can organize it," Carson replied confidently.

He spoke with confidence that whatever Paula wanted could be realized. For him, throwing a big party was not a tricky thing. In fact, he could invite important people and learn all kinds of luxuries without difficulty.
