“Y - yes! and who's there?” Asked Andrea panickingly.

Then he turned to Rose and asked, “who could that be knocking and crying at our doorstep?”

Rose was as clueless as Andrea was without the knowledge of who came crying and knocking on their door. “How will I know who the person is? I'm just as clueless as you are and should even be the one asking the question and not the other way round,” she said and handed Andrea his phone back.

The voice wasn't Charles' own but it was somehow familiar to some voices that they've heard in the past. However, known of the duo husband and wife could tell exactly whose voice it was crying and knocking vigorously on their door.

They were shrouded in panic and fear without knowing what to do next.

Meanwhile the wailing voice and knocks kept on coming intensively, increasing its pitches in a geometrical incremental manner.
