CHAPTER 132

The rest of the ride to the Bolton's Mansion was filled with small absentminded banter between the group of four who were each distracted with their racing thoughts. Soon enough Rose pulled into the driveway of the Bolton's Mansion and came to a stop in front of the door, but no one made a move to get down from the car. They were all well aware of the presence of the proverbial elephant in the room but none of them wanted to be the first to bring it up so they sat in silence for almost two minutes until Sarah, being the most impatient one of the four, eventually decided she had just about had enough of the heavy silence and pulled the plug on the silence by clearing her throat to speak up.
