Chris and Monica remained in their embrace for about a minute before Monica eventually disentangled herself and looked away.

"I'm sorry if I held you too tight and I hope I didn't hurt you. I'm just so glad you're back and alive. I was quite worried." she said as she actively avoided making eye contact with him.

"No. It's alright. I'm fine," Chris responded softly as he looked at her with a soft smile. After a few more seconds of silence, Chris asked "Just by the way, do we know who did this to me yet?"

"No, we don't and I don't think we will." she responded and added "Not because we can't but because everyone is just really happy to have you back home and personally, I'd say it was done by some amateur and not anyone who poses any real threat or danger," she finished.
