CHAPTER 86

The evening had finally arrived, and Chris was ready to make his move to infiltrate Thomas's fortress. He donned a hood to conceal his identity and waited for the perfect moment to slip out of the mansion unnoticed. He knew that Monica and Rose were on guard duty, and they would be the only ones to pose a threat to his escape. But he was lucky that they had been posted elsewhere.

The guards that had been posted to watch his side of the mansion were distracted, engaged in a heated argument about the best kind of sport.

"I'm telling you, football is the superior sport!" one guard exclaimed. "The thrill of the game, the emotions, the strategy—it's unbeatable!"

"You're crazy, man!" the other guard replied. "Motorsport is where it's at! The roar of the engines, the rush of adrenaline, the speed – it's exhilarating!"
